Pros +
- The location is excellent. It is super close to Gare du Nord, and relatively close to down town. The room was relatively clean and was good for the price. It is a fairly normal European hotel.
- Location is good
- Clean and comfortable room, very good location close to metro stations and cafés, and friendly staff. The bed was comfortable and the room felt quiet for a central area.
Cons -
- The lobby is getting renovated, and the staff wasn't the friendliest. I don't like that they charge for the breakfast. It did not look very high quality, so why charge for that?
- the room is too small
- The room was a bit small and there was limited space for luggage, but it was fine for a short stay.

Location ok, close to metro, walking distance from Gare du Nord. Staff, except for one, were nice and polite. Cleaning ok. Excellent beds. On Thursday and Friday the breakfast was managed very well, thanks to the nice lady in charge on those mornings. We had even fresh fruitsalad.
Room small and shabby, very different from the photos in Booking. Walls are paper-thin. On Thursday and Friday the breakfast was managed very well, thanks to the lady in charge on those mornings. Saturday and Sunday were bad; the young guy was standing in the kitchen with his mobile phone when foods were finished in the breakfast room. We had to ask for the scrambled eggs which then was cold though he 'warmed it up' in the microwave, the same with the tiny sausages. No fruitsalad, no cucumber, tomato we had to ask for, so he sliced two. Pain au chocolat also finished. So many people and yet the other part of the breakfast room was all in darkness - why? Thursday and Friday all of it was available for guests. Can't recommend.
The air condition wasn't working for 90% of the hotel. The street was quite noisy, and of course I had to open the window for air. Sleeping was tough. A bunch of folks ended up leaving and getting refunds. The staff was nice, but the heat was bad, even with a fan.
The location was great. Nice room and bathroom.
I would've loved a mini bar fridge to store our drinks in.
Excellent location. Value for money. Though a little small had everything a person could need. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.
The room tended to be a little noisy but was bearable.
we stayed at this hotel a week previously and had a small, but decent room. Breakfast very good. However, when we returned a week later, we were given a different room. The room was tiny. Shower was like a tiny cupboard.
Tiny room, tiny shower
We chose the hotel because it was close to Gare du Nord, where we were catching a train the following day. Having read reviews our expectations weren't that high, but it was just one night. We were very pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly, everything was sparkling clean and the fittings in the bathroom looked brand new. The rooms were compact (as you would expect for this budget in central Paris, but we had everything we needed and were very comfortable. We were even able to open a window, which was a relief after two weeks of air-conditioning. Near the hotel are plenty of bars and restaurants and it's a short walk and funicular to visit Montmartre and the Sacre Cœur.
The bedside lights were difficult to use and seemed wobbly.
Really pretty decor. Compact but thoughtfully designed. Nice fold-out windows so you can look out onto your Parisian neighbours and street. There was a nice selection at the included breakfast. Elevator!
Great location. Close to transport, great choice of cafes and everyday retail needs. A great base foe exploring Paris and it's major attractions.
Uninhabitable due to excessive heat
The room temperature was extremely high, to the point that it was impossible to stay inside comfortably or safely.I immediately reported the issue to the receptionist. A maintenance staff member came to check the system but confirmed that nothing could be done to repair it. I then requested a room change, but was informed that no alternative rooms were available. When I asked about cancellation and refund options, I was instructed to contact Booking.com and hotel administration directly by email.Given that the problem was not resolved and the room was uninhabitable due to excessive heat—which I believe poses a health risk—I had no choice but to leave and secure accommodation at another hotel.

The location was good.
Aircon didn't work, they promised me a refund which they never honoured. The wifi also did not work. The rooms are tiny! They never notified us about either issues.
Have stayed here several times...
No wifi as advertised. Staff kept making excuses for it not working. Should not be advertised
Room was clean, but the rest of the place was a bit of a a wreck (hallways and reception). Didn’t really match the modern and renovated exterior. We were lucky as we were in a room facing out the front of the building so we could see a little bit of the Parisian skyline. It was in a convenient location for the train station and also close to most attractions which was good.
No aircon - was broken when we arrived, which we found out by ourselves, we were not told upon check in. It was during the recent heatwave, where it was 30+ degrees in Paris, so it wasn’t great. When I asked about it at the front desk, the receptionist said it was broke and it was being worked on at that moment. As a solution they offered us a fan. We stayed 2 nights and the aircon was never fixed. Staff didn’t seem to be all that interested in apologising for this. I thought it was pretty poor for the price and just generally bad customer service. They could have told us at check in but they clearly hoped we wouldn’t notice!

It's centrally located within easy reach of the metro and shops.
The air conditioning unit was not working, the shower head had to be replaced, the manager was very rude, the telephone in the room was faulty, tea bags were not replenished every day, the toilet in the lobby was filthy!
Lovely staff. Nice breakfast
It was a heatwave and no aircon in room. It was a sweat box. We were not offered an alternative room nor even a free breakfast which would have been something
The location of the hotel is good. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was decent but nothing special as the breads were stale.
We arrived during Paris Air Show week and also a heat wave week. The hotel failed to notify us prior to our arrival that there will be no air conditioning available during our stay. They had not provided us with fans until we requested them. It was extremely warm in the room to the point where you could not stay in the room after you have had a cold shower. The hotel should have reached out and offered to change our bookings or cancel if we wished to do so prior to our arrival in the city
