- Easy to get to- a Beautiful room, spacious and very well done up. Super comfortable bed.Fabulous spread for breakfast too.
- Location was great. We got an early check in and late check out
- Very poor
Cons -
- Perhaps some milk in the fridge for tea drinkers like me.
- Housekeeping opened door even when he heard my voice and alarmed me
- Very disappointing stay, absolutely not 5-star worthyCalling this a 5-star hotel is honestly a joke. We paid around €450 per night for a very standard room, without breakfast, and there was nothing luxurious about the experience. The room was extremely small and felt more like a basic 3-star hotel room. The bathroom was really nice but thats about it (although no bathtub) On top of that, the full-length mirror was completely unusable, as it was blocked by a piece of furniture placed right in front of it. It felt poorly thought out and not at all in line with a hotel in this this price category. For a hotel charging premium rates, the wellness area was extremely disappointing. The sauna was out of order, and the steam room was also not working. Essentially, none of the facilities were functioning, which is unacceptable at this level.Service was also far below expectations. When we arrived, there was no one to help with our luggage. I have honestly experienced better service at 3-star hotels. On the second day, we left the room in the morning and returned around 14:30, only to find that the room had still not been cleaned. We were then asked to leave so they could clean it, after we had been out all day and just wanted to relax. Every night they did a light evening cleaning, which is expected at this price point, but they didn’t even empty the trash. We also tried the breakfast one morning. The waiter was extremely stressed, rushing around and hurrying us. One of the items we ordered was waffles for €12. After waiting 40 min, what arrived was a cold half a waffle with some syrup, nothing else (see picture)Overall, the staff seemed unhelpful and did very little to improve the situation. We were offered a small compensation: the waffle was removed from the bill, and we received a €30 discount for one night because of the broken steam room. That hardly reflects the level of inconvenience.I would not recommend it.

An excellent boutique style hotel in an amazing part of Paris, very well connected by the metro. The building is a converted townhouse so do not expect a full lobby style international hotel, it is cosy and quintessentially Parisian. This will be my hotel for any future visit to Paris.
The location was good and they gave me a free upgrade
There was stains on the chair in my room, the soap dispenser was broken in the bathroom, there was only the option of heat not air con so had to sleep with the window open which was very noisy. The food in the restaurant was very disappointing - the chicken was bleeding despite being sent back twice, I had the risotto instead and it was like gravy with rice in. They still charged me for it though! This was definitely not a five star property.
The staff are very helpful and doing their best with what they have available to them
We were in the junior suite and it is a very dull, grey room. We were only given 2 towels, light bulbs needed changing due to constant flickering, there is zero view in the room, you feel trapped in a box and the bed is extremely uncomfortable. The room was so unappealing we actually decided not to stay and left that evening, as the mattress was so bad I could not sleep on it. For the price you are paying on this room, there is no view, no vibrant colours in the room, the mattress desperately needs replacing. The fact that we chose to walk out at 9pm and book into another hotel highlights how bad this room was, especially as we moved to a lower standard hotel but received a much better value for money room. We received no refund or any goodwill gesture, even though we were unable to stay in the room.
I didn’t plan properly for time so we arrived exausted hours before check in. The dining room staff weren’t annoyed at us for basically laying down at a table and the loveliest concierge (I didn’t get his name) found us a room early at 10AM and saved the day ♥️
Third stay at maison breguet. Good location and we had a large room.
Pillows are not comfortable. Restaurant amenities were not available, which was okay given proximity to so many restaurants but would have been nice to have the option to dine in house.
This is probably a 4 star, absolutely not a 5 star. Staff were nice.
The hotel was too dirty. The elevators and passage were claustrophobic. Not much options for food. Breakfast was bad. Location is absolutely not good for family.
Excellent location.Felt like home. Low key for a 5 star hotelServices were good
On the second day, we left the room at 9:30. At 16, it still had not been cleaned. I had to ask the reception. It was cleaned in a very short time span after the request. In addition, there was a lot of noise because a sewage problems. The twin bed rooms are on the side of street, which is a relatively quiet street but the sound isolation of the window is not sufficient and you hear a lot of what happens on the street, even on floor 3.No one helped us with our luggage when we arrived or left. Strange for a 5 star hotel. The room intendance visits the rooms only once a day. The rooms are not being visited for the evening setup. The safe is too small. You can not store a tablet or laptop inside of it.The rooms are a bit small. But it’s Paris
Spa incident properly bothered me and my stolen glasses that I have already spoken to my “AVOCAT”
Don’t treat me like a fool
Beautiful venue, very helpful and attentive staff. The front desk staff went the extra mile to assist with all my travel needs. Especially ( Danielle and Francois). Restaurant staff and food are well above expectations
Stayed for a week in November. Perfect location that made it easy to get around. Staff was really friendly. Loved the restaurant with the glass ceiling. Complimentary water was a nice touch
Rooms are small, as is typical for Europe, but still worked for us. Wish the room had a stand up shower instead of a tub
Clean, location, good breakfast and great staff.
Room too small
The hotel is in a n ice location, the bar downstairs is very nice (the house wine was lovely) and the staff were very helpful. Overall very pleasant.
For the money, the suite was very plain and didn't have any wow factor. We are regular travellers and often have suites - this was quite average. Also the breakfast was expensive for what was offered. We went to a lovely cafe nearby that offered lovely food for half the price.
We love the location because it is close to the Opera Bastille.
The street to get there from the metro is a little grubby
The design and ambience of the hotel was very nice - nice interiors. Room was very comfortable, a walk in shower may have been preferred as opposed to a deep bath tub.
Breakfast for a 5* was very average (e.g. all the cheese was hidden under a kitchen towel and not ripe either for eating), but the dining room is beautifully presented and designed. Staff were very friendly but not particularly knowledgable about the surrounding areas.
The staff were lovely. Food excellent and spa/swimming pool
The bed was very hard. A lot of noise you could hear everything from the restaurant and room next door. It woke us every morning.
Great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and has everything you need. The spa was really nice too!
A lovely hotel with a small pool and sauna, offering excellent service, a great location, very nice rooms, and good food. I would definitely stay there again.
