Hotel Louvre Richelieu

Clean, comfortable and great location.

By the very nature of the building there are a lot of stairs, we hard work after walking round Paris all day. We were ok but anyone with mobility issues should take this into account. Our room (45) was lovely but also had a flight of stairs in it with the toilet at the bottom of the stairs, so if you needed the toilet through the night it was a bit difficult to get down the stairs and not wake the other person.

Very noise guests arguments until 4.30 am in the morning. Slamming doors very disrespectful.

Room was warm and cozy, the location is close to so many places, you can go downstairs and find somewhere to have a quick bite, the wifi was pretty good, and staff were friendly

Too many stairs without an elevator other than that things were pretty nice

The location was excellent and the room was fine, very comfy bed. The entrance could do with a refurb and the fact that there are no dining options means it's a perfectly functionable hotel, but not a particularly memorable one.

The hotel is located around a lot of restaurants and it stinks of unpleasant smells all the time including inside the rooms.The room was clean when we got it however it wasn't cleaned our entire stay ( 3 nights) since the cleaner only got to our room on the afternoon when we already got back to the room.The safe in our room didn't work- we asked for it to be fixed twice however it wasn't done.It wasn't the worse place I've ever stayed in but I'd expected more for more than 350 euros a night.

Greeted by the staff who was helpful with the luggage, as there is no elevator.The room was basic but clean.

The hotel oversells itself on the internet. It doen't really meet the qulification of 3 stars

The staff was very helpful. The location was about perfect for our purposes. 600m from the Louvre. Easy walk to many landmarks. Many restaurants within 2 blocks. A supermarket and a laundromat nearly next door. Imporrtant as we pa k light and were traveling on for another 2 weeks.

The room was small and it is a walk up.. That is the trade off for a great l9cation at a reasonable price.

Very welcoming and helpful staff, special thanks to Tristan. Good sized room for central Paris. Very comfortable beds and good quality bedding. The neighborhood is safe and has plenty of dining options.

Very poor view at sonething which is described as an inner courtyard but is not. At such a price per night, I expected slippers, more beauty products such as a shower cap and body lotion and a bit more coffee /tea would be welcome, three guests need at least 2 coffee capsules each per day, or even normal instant coffee sachets to use with the kettle. Similar hotels in Rome offer some biscuits, bottled water and fruit juices. The room doesn't have its own little fridge, but there is a communal one in the reception area. The windows when opened were dirty on the outside, as if they hadn't been cleaned in ages. Also, I was under the impression, when I booked the comfort triple room, that it would be a two-space area and we were all in one single room.

Great location easy walk to louvre and other attractions. Room was small but adequate and had everything you need.

Not a major issue for us but helps others to know that there are a lot of stairs to rooms which are tricky to navigate with big/bulky or heavy luggage!

The room was clean. The beds were fine. There were individual lights with USB ports and a ledge for your phone next to each bed. The air conditioning was fantastic (it was 95+degrees outside). The bathroom was clean and supplied with Body Wash, shampoo, a bar of soap, and a hair dryer. Large closet with shelving and room to hang clothing. There was a self-service laundromat two doors down and a grocery store within a block. The staff were friendly. They offered restaurant suggestions and watched/stored our luggage until our room was ready. The staff took our luggage to our room when we returned. They even had umbrellas for us to use during the stay. The building was secure with a front door locked entry.When looking for the hotel, look the the red door. It is not a wide hotel and you can walk by it.
