The bright and airy bedrooms each have tea/coffee facilities and a TV with satellite channels. Most rooms also have a private bathroom. A traditional breakfast buffet is served daily in the spacious dining room. Breakfast options include fresh coffee, fruit juices and a selection of light cereals. The Dover Hotel is a 20 minute walk from the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. Stylish Knightsbridge, home to Harrods and the Natural History Museum, is a 20 minute walk away.

They moved us downstairs on second booking .
It's very clean. 2 blocks from Victoria Station. Very pleasant staff.
For the price, this place was great. Close to Westminster and Victoria station. Also close to lots of takeaway and restaurant options. Room and bathroom small but clean, we were only there to sleep and shower. Breakfast was basic but filling-good service!

Cons -

First stay we had to lift suitcase up 50 steps. 3 rd floor
The breakfast was very basic, but I realize that is what you pay for. The rooms are small, but I knew that.
They ask you to leave your key at reception, I am not used to that, but it was no problem. They provide lockers to store any valuables in reception as well, which was useful.

Basic and good price, close to tube or walking to everything. Nothing fancy, but all a very good value and free breakfast.

There is no elevator so you have to lug your luggage up some steep stairs, but this was not an issue for us.
