All rooms at MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West feature light décor with bright touches and hardwood floors. They also have a private bathroom with shower. Schiphol Airport is a 15-minute drive from the hotel. MEININGER Hotel is a 5-minute train ride from central Amsterdam. The beach in Zandvoort and Zuid-Kennemerland National Park are both 30 minutes away by car.

- A true gem! The train station is literally next door and you can hop on a train to Amsterdam Central every 10mind. We travelled with 2 kids and it was a perfect place to rest after exploring Amsterdam. The staff was nice and you can¿t beat the price
- Located next to a train station, rooms were clean and furniture looked new. Restaurant/coffee shop on site was good.

Cons -
- Price was high but comparable with other hotels in the area. The lobby area was very crowded and noisy.
- Staff very busy and one of the staff was rude and unfriendly. Overall not worth the price we paid.
- TV had 8 stations 0ne I. English and that was BBC. Very boring. But didn't stay in room too long. Would have been nice to at least have a radio.
