Hotel Museumzicht is located on the upper floors of a 19th century Art nouveau mansion. From the breakfast room you have a unique view of the Rijksmuseum, a 3-minute walk away. The original tiles and furnishings of the rooms are combined with modern box-spring beds and free Wi-Fi. Most rooms have a shared bathroom in the hallway on the same floor. The Museum Square with the famous Van Gogh Museum is less than a 5-minute walk away. The Museumplein tram stop is located 328 feet from your doorstep and offers connections to Amsterdam Central Station, the RAI and the World Trade Center. From the Airport bus 397 brings you in 25 minutes to our hotel.

Pros +

Great location, good staff, amazing breakfast.
All the staff were exceptional, very helpful and pleasant. The included breakfast was more than we expected. Location could not have been much better.

Cons -

The stairs are narrow and spiral, so it was rough to carry my heavy baggage, however without the bags, I found them pretty charming. Room was basic but you get what you pay for.
No TV. Lot of steep, narrow steps. (Part of the charm ?)

Great location, good staff, amazing breakfast.

The stairs are narrow and spiral, so it was rough to carry my heavy baggage, however without the bags, I found them pretty charming. Room was basic but you get what you pay for.
