Hotel Abbazia

20 years ago we stayed in a restored monistary in Poland. We'll remember this stay also. Yes, the room was large and clean and the breakfast generous. There was luggage storage, and the location was perfect. But I love that this hotel has history!

The staircases all hallways were under renovation, which gave the place an unsettling feeling the night we arrived, but I decided that's why we got such a great price.

Our room had two bathrooms, much appreciate for our family. We also enjoyed the breakfast.

The shower upstairs was not finished, still been fixed. Not the issue. That was fine. The bottom shower was open. So my family were force to stay upstairs during showers to give each other privacy.

Close to train and water taxi. Very respectful accommodating andcaring staff.

No elevator and tub with hand held shower head.

Great location - steps from the People Mover, train station and vaporetto stops. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

So much fun to stay in an old Abby. Very comfortable bed. The staff was nice and the breakfast was incredible, so many options.

The pillow was hard for me but ok for my husband.

Matteo took amazing care of us! On top of that, it was a beautiful hotel right next to the termini. Will be recommending to anyone staying in Venice!

Although we were just a short walk from the train station, the room and grounds were quite private and quiet. The breakfast buffet that was included with the room was exceptional - we enjoyed 3 delicious breakfasts, and there were fresh varied choices each day. The breakfast staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and spacious. There were many great restaurants and wine bars nearby.

Had to really dig deep to find a dis-like... There was only 1 key for our room for 4 adults. Although the staff offered to keep the key at the front desk for us, we would have liked to have had another room key during our stay as we did different activities throughout the day.

It has the best location especially when you needed to catch a train, it also was close the grand canal and food and everything. It's beautiful and exceeded all my expectations. Staff/Food/Stay - AMAZING.

Perfect hotel in Venice. So close to the train station. and easy walking to the Cannaregio district. The hotel manager was so helpful telling us what vaporetti to take to get to Zaccaria, time and platform. We had a 1/2 day tour to Murano and Burano, on the check out day, and the hotel manager allowed us to store our bags while we were on the tour. Breakfast was available from 7-10 AM, very pleasant.

Overall Very Good Experience

Very conveniently located to the train station, but far enouh to not hear train noise. Staff was very kind and the room was larger than we had expected.

Perfect location, within walking distance from the station. I love the ambiance and knowing that we were staying in a historical place in Venice. The room was nice. I think we even got an upgrade because we got a balcony! The staff was nice.

The location was great and Christmas decorations lovely.

Perfect location, near Train station, although far from the main squares and attractions. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Lacks an elevator, unforunately. Very comfortable rooms, specially for families. Prices were fair. Breakfast was great.

Everything particularly the breakfast. They even realized it was my daughter’s birthday and surprised her with a lovely pastry with candle at breakfast.

Excellent location. Very near to the train station and to the water bus station. Very convenient if you have luggage or plan to use water bus. Good clean room. Excellent free breakfast.
