- Stunning art in stunning rooms, unbeatable!
- We stayed in Ca’Sagredo hotel in room 405 from 19Jun2025 till 22Jun2025.Please consider this email message as a complaint about housekeeping service. We complained twice during our stay about black mold on the tiles around the bath tub and no action has been made. It’s not acceptable for the 5 star hotel to show inglorious attitude towards their guests.
- The internet does not work at all!!!!The breakfast of 44 euro pp is absolute not al all worth the moneyAll kind of little things like airco and shower pe do not work properly

It really looks like a Venetian palace. The suite was beautiful and spacious.
I doesn't really feel like a palace. There is no way to make coffee in the room, and room service doesn't start until 8:00, so every morning at 7:00 I had to leave the hotel in search for coffee. And another important thing- if you charge €800 per night and you advertise that you have a fitness center, you should actually have one!
Great hotel in a beautiful building on the Grand Canal, close to the vaporetto stop Ca’ d’Oro (2 or 3 minute walk). Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice large room (deluxe double) with stylish furniture. A bit pricey but it was worth it.
Nothing !
Location, quietness. My room - the size and terrace. The interior of hotel is like museum. Breakfast and helpfulness of staff.
Nothing. All was good.
Nice big palazzo, great location, good beds.
It is far far away from 5 stars. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned.
I like that its near to everything. Also, I like the interior.
I didn't like how housekeeping talked to me. Also, its weird that I put do not disturb and they access the room!! Three times they access while I'm in the room, and once I'm not in the room and they clean the garbage only, this all is while putting do not disturb sign!!!After that I talked to the reception and they inform them.
Historical splendour , views and proximity to canal
It’s dated and tired
The Ca Sagredo is a beautiful old Venetian palace. We had one of their more modest rooms, but it was elegant, clean and well appointed, and the view over the Grand Canal was fabulous. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the meal we ate in the restaurant was pricey, but delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently situated near the Ca D'Oro vaparetto stop.
Stunning building, beautiful room and brilliantly located on the Grand Canal opposite the Rialto market, directly next to a traghetto stop and a short walk from the Rialto bridge. Well-staffed and all the staff were really polite, extra friendly and spoke very good English.
It wasn’t completely spotless, but it was right at the end of the high season so I would imagine it’s just due a big clean now that there are fewer guests. We had a little difficulty getting the heating to work in our room (but this was sorted for us when we raised it with the front desk). The maid must have noticed we had used extra blankets etc and actually put an extra duvet on our bed which was really sweet of her and we really appreciated.
Location
5 Stars L hotel just on the wall !!!! No complementary water in the room, no additional shampoo an shower fell. Terrible and poor breakfasts. Terrible white lights at the antrace (it looks like a graveyard)!!!
A beautiful historic building. Excellent breakfast selection. Close to Rialto bridge and a leisurely walk to St Marks Square.
The location was excellent. The hotel front desk were very efficient in organising the water taxi transfers to and from the airport.
The biggest issue was that the hotel wi-fi was poor. The room felt tired, e.g. the carpet was marked. The breakfast were good but we didn't like that the fruit juices provided were not fresh.
Amazing hotel … all the staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed for four days for a wedding and would definitely go back.
Location was excellent - within walking distance to all major spots and right next to the public and private water taxi stop.
We stayed at Ca' Sagredo Hotel as we wanted to take pictures in the hotel for our prewedding photoshoot, which was complimentary for hotel guests. The interior of the hotel was beautiful like a museum. Our room was on the 4th floor with our own terrace overlooking the river, which was absolutely amazing and beautiful! I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Venice!
Had not stayed here since 2015 and I can honestly say nothing had changed. It is dated, tired and basic - not like other 5 Star SLH - but the location is great. The building itself is magnificent - on the canal, next to a Vaparetto stop
The breakfast is basic - we had just come from Abano Terme where every morning we had been dining on a breakfast feast. The room is dated - old carpet on the floors - stained ceiling from a leak. Nothing is fresh or clean feeling.
The building is incredible. The frescoes are a sight to behold. The location is brilliant. So special to have the terrace on the grand canal. Absolutely heavenly.
Nothing- we loved it!
Authentic Venetian Villa. You feel like you are part of the history while staying in it. I liked the privacy, the location, the coziness, nice clean bedclothes…
Feeling is like a ‘family hotel’. I have a feeling g they try to save on little stuff like new shampoo refill or conditioner refill, breakfast is no items if you come 15 min to the end. Refills are bad side. Also, no item is free in the room like no cattle no coffe machine, no water except from a minibar. Breakfast is rarely included in price, watch it carefully. Breakfast is very plan and the same offer every day. Venue is marvelous dough.
