Hotel Alcyone

Location is great. 2 minutes and you are in Rialto, 5-7 minutes and you will reach Piazza San Marco. Breakfast is good. The room was narrow but the bed and towels very clean. It was useful that after check out we were able to leave luggage at hotel.

The breakfast was adequate and the location was good.

Room was very old, the mattress was terrible, didn’t sleep all night, the ac was very loud.

Bathroom was always flooding quite annoying! Toilet seat was broken, at-least they fixed it quickly .

Very well located, minutes away from Rialto Bridge and from San Marco. Surrounded by restaurants and local shops. Our room had views of the canal so that made the experience even better.

Breakfast was pretty basic but ok overall.

Left my clothes in the hotel but didn’t get contacted afterwards. Certain staff wasn’t very nice.

The hotel is reasonably priced (for Venice). It has excellent location, excellent breakfast and good facility.

Could use a bit of a refresh on the interior design.

The Ac is not working properly and it was so noisy.

The location was in the centre, very accessible for all the city sights and all the attractions. The hotel was really nice and the staff was really helpful. The people at the front desk knows English very well, but the cleaning staff doesn’t. The hotel was pretty clean, the room was cleaned daily at around 12 pm. There was a supermarket right next to the hotel on the right as you go outside. Everything inside the room was pretty silent, no noise. The room was equipped with an A/C which was working pretty well. We had a view of the street, not the canal.

The room had always a funny smell when you entered, it needed constant airing, the shower had some small moldy spots.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, comfy bed and pillows, good breakfast, excellent water pressure, hot water.

Ineffective shower door, cracked basin. Would have liked a kettle and safe in the room.

Great location. Tired hotel that needs work and improvements. Lovely staff. But no facilities- not really a hotel. A B&B.

No Internet in the rooms, can't find a free way of drying clothes (except in hot climates).

The location was amazing! So near all the sights. The breakfast was a very generous continental breakfast. Rooms were very cosy and clean with lovely Venetian old style decor. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Nothing to dislike and think people shouldn’t rely on trip advisors reviews.

Excellent location, Close to rialto bridge, saint marco square. Breakfast was a good continental, staff very nice.shops and restaurants right outside the front door..

The room was a bit small, the bed took up much of the room, the mattress could do with a new one. We still had a great time..

I cannot review the hotel as it was under maintenance and we were informed via text on the doors that we're supposed to go to another place in replacement. I wouldn't be mad about it if I were informed beforehand but no only a sheet of paper on doors lol . Belle ari however was great

Did not even stay at the hotel, when we got there, they said that they had renovations for the 2 days we had booked and that they were moving us to another one of there Hotels. Said they sent an email but never received it.

Book especially there due to location. No communication, whether it was them or Booking.com itself. If known much earlier, we could have cancelled and looked for a more conveniently located Hotel. They also did not even offer to move our luggage to the other Hotel of theirs.
