Hotel La Calcina

Situado al sudeste, cerca de San Marcos. Se llega fácil en 15 minutos de bus acuático. Muy limpio, acogedor y cálido, bonitas vistas y buen desayuno. Regalan unas zapatillas para caminar por la habitación. Personal muy amable y hablan todos los idioma

Nada negativo, un hotel magnífico en todos los aspectos.

Location is wonderful with beautiful view of the canal.

Room should be vacuumed every day as floor is not clean.

Liked everything. Just remember, the hotel does not have an elevator so you must be able to climb stairs.

Very beautiful hotel, located directly to the water, the location is central but is not a touristic street. They had a very good breakfast and the staff was very friendly

The shower was quite small with curtains, not very comfortable

Service orientation of staff is truly exceptional, breakfast is amazing and location is exceptional. I was so glad i booked this property instead of being in the over touristy san marco square areas

This is my favorite hotel in Venice--we've been staying here for more than 40 years. Staff is exceedingly kind and helpful. Location is great.

I needed some effort to get on the 3rd floor, but I just need to work on my condition!

Atmospheric and personal, superb location - water taxi to the door or water bus just along the wharf. Could hear the waters gently lapping outside.Staff were so lovely.

Breakfast was delicious, good variety and lovely coffee. Staff were wonderful!

The decor in common areas was bit shabby but otherwise a beautiful hotel.

The employees were very great to all guest. very helpful the place was amazing great restaurant out over the grand canal.Would go back and stay there again

The location is excellent. The view across the Guidecca canal is lovely plus very close to the Zattere stop for water transport. Eating breakfast outside in the sunshine (in November! )can’t be beaten. The staff are absolutely charming and extremely helpful. We have stayed here many times over the years and will be back.

No lift but they are about to install one.

Great breakfast and other meals in the beautiful hotel restaurant. The hotel staff provides superior services throughout the day. The location of the hotel is beautiful and relatively quiet. We will be back next year!

The room for two was small, but still comfortable,

The staff are still really helpful, the location is great, the breakfast good and the main hotel area very nice.

The single room. There was enough floor are for a single bed, a desk and about two feet between them, and the decor was tired, with peeling wallpaper in several places. There were steps up to the bathroom which was better appointed, but with a sloping ceiling making the shower unusable for anyone over 5’8”. The price for this tiny attic room was €240 per night for 5 nights, €1,200.

Standard room is very v small and cramped. Upgrading was expensive but worth it for views and space. Room 42 lovely despite 4 flights of stairs!

Lovely quiet location situated away from the crowded tourist areas around St Marks etc. but still close enough to reach on foot. Gave me the opportunity to see some parts of Venice that otherwise I may not have seen. Beautiful setting on the water. Arrived well before check in time but my room was unexpectedly ready. Had a delicious dinner in the restaurant.

My room was spotlessly clean with a great view & everything I needed but the decor (wallpaper) was a bit jaded.
