Pros +
- Great location and luxury on the Grand Canal, close to the train station and Ferrovia water stop. Plenty to do nearby, and you don¿t have to haul your luggage on the boats. Nice rooms and a garden right on the canal.
- This was a perfect hotel in Venice. My daughter and I loved being here. Even though it was winter we sat out on their terrace having coffee watching the boats on the Grand Canal and it was amazing.
- The location was great, so easy to get to with a bag and the private gardens were nice to relax after being around crowds all day. In addition the staff really made this a special experience and were very friendly ?
Cons -
- Rooms need a mirror outside bathroom because there was no outlet in/nearby bathroom. Fine, though, if you can do with only a hair dryer.
- Shower area tiles broken and unstable, paints chipped on wall. Furnitures very old and outdated. Noisy room, I can hear every word from front desk in my room. Overall quality is more like 2 star.
- Overpriced room rate. Breakfast considers expensive as choices are limited.

Location, size of room, lovely decor and gardens.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. It has 24 hours front desk service. Room size is decent and adequate for 2 persons. Distant from the train station wasn't overly far, you can walk to the hotel if you have a manageable size luggage.
Overpriced room rate. Breakfast considers expensive as choices are limited.
Location, facilities, staff
This place has great views of the canal also the breakfast was very good and the staff was excellent. The Hotel is a 5 min walking distance to a Vapporetto stop. Rooms are huge with lots of space.
Well there is nothing bad to say..just a suggestion we had a bit of a hard time finding the entrance specially if you are first time going to Venezia Perhaps a bigger sign at the front entrance.
Lovely, large room. Beautiful garden over-looking Grand Canal. Near rail station and super-convenient vaporetto stop.
Good !!! centrally located , Peaceful , Clean , Staff was friendly and helpful … Decent on Seafood , Looking forward to visiting again ❤️??
All the above
Incredible location on the canal with garden, staff was very attentive
In the heart of Venice with amazing balcony overlooking the main canal. Not too far to drag the luggage either
This is a great, small and nice hotel very well located in Venice. Our first room was very nice but unfortunately due to high amount of rain, there was some water pouring from the good of the bathroom. The staff was very helpful to clean all and were rapidly managing the situation. They gave us an even nicer room. Breakfast was quite good and nice to take in patio.
The location is fantastic, with a beautiful garden overlooking the canal - you can watch gondolas passing right in front of you. The historic details like wooden ceilings, marble floors and antique furniture give the hotel a unique charm. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was not included and cost €20 per person, but luckily there are many nice cafés just around the corner where you can have a good breakfast. Some furniture felt mismatched - for example, a modern wardrobe and twin beds didn’t really fit the elegant historic style of the room.
Beautiful historic property, right on a canal, with a relaxing enclosed garden area. Staff was welcoming and helpful day and night. Good breakfast buffet each morning. Location was close to train station and vaporetto stop.
Beautiful location, right on two canals
I partially booked this hotel to take advantage of the terrace overlooking the canal, but this was reserved for private events both evenings I stayed there, which was disappointing.
Great location and friendly team on reception.
Complimentary water in the room per day considering the room rate and heat this would have been welcomed and very hospitable.
Breakfast in the garden overlooking the Canal was spectacular. Appreciated the convenient but quiet location so very close to the train station making arrival and departure a breeze.
Unfortunately, my husband had an injury while in Venice and the hotel was unwilling to accommodate our early departure request — 1 day — (which was their prerogative given its booking.com guidelines). The inflexibility was unfortunate and we felt did reflect on the management of the hotel property given the extenuating circumstances. Disappointed and created a huge inconvenience.
The staff were excellent and responsive. The room was clean and the bathroom was modern and spacious. The breakfast buffet was good. The location and garden excellent and the room had a robe and slippers and any amenities anyone might need while you’re traveling. Perfect comfort.
A lovely property close to the train station in Venice but away from the crowds
The location was ideal for us. About an 8-minute walk from the train station, maybe 15 minutes with heavy suitcases. You have beautiful views of the canal. There is even a private hotel garden with views of the canal where you can eat breakfast or enjoy drinks. The breakfast is standard for Italy: bread rolls, croissants, scrambled eggs, undercooked bacon, yogurt, sliced meats, cereals, nuts, pastries, etc. The staff is very friendly. The interior is nicely decorated, a true vintage Venice hotel. Rooms are very big. WiFi is great. And the bed and pillows are very comfortable.
The thermostats in the rooms do not work at all. As a result, the rooms get very hot. You can try to open the windows to circulate the air, but a bunch of mosquitoes will fly in (especially in the evening / night). We had better luck leaving the door to the hallway open. The bathroom has no ventilation. So the steam from the shower makes the room humid too. While the windows are great at blocking outside noises, the interior walls are too thin. We heard all our neighbors and even the guests staying on the floor above us. Some nights, the hotel wouldn't turn off the elevator music in the hallway - so we could hear it all night long in the bedrooms. Plus, there are lights in the room that don't turn off, so the bedroom never gets completely dark at night. For such an expensive hotel, the sleeping experience is terrible. The mornings of a holiday weekend, a tourist group visited for breakfast. They were very noisy, took up all the seats, and ate all the food before we arrived. (The other mornings were good.) I recommend avoiding the hotel during holidays, weekends, and the busy summer season.
