The staff was excellent and very helpful. (manager and owner) , Nishan (his assitant) and an other employee ( i forgot the name) were all excellent and of very helpful attitude.

Wi-Fi needs to be improved.

The location was good but this does not even begin to make up for how gross my experience was.

INFESTED WITH BED BUGS DO NOT STAY HERE. I got so many bites all over my body and they got in my suitcase as well. The property was very unhelpful and rude when I confronted them about it. From the google reviews on this place, it seems like this has been happening for a long time and the property hasn’t done anything about it which is disgusting in many ways.

the location was good

The management was bad. I booked a bed in a female dorm only to find a man in one of the beds in the morning. I had to get my room changed. The entire building had a bed bug infestation except in one or two rooms. Bed bugs were seen in rooms, bathrooms, common areas etc.

I made 3 days reservation but I stayed only 2 days. The bed was full of bad bugs, and I was bitting everywhere. I am home try to get better.

The hostel felt unsafe due to lack of secure entry, and we didn’t feel comfortable with the staff.The room had a mosquito problem and we noticed bed bugs, which made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. We woke up with bites all over our body.Unfortunately, we had to leave after one night, even though we originally planned to stay 3 nights. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a safe and clean place to stay.

You get exactly what you paid for. The staff, namely Dibu, was very helpful, kind, and timely. It is not a glamorous stay, but worth it for the location and cheap price.

The reception was not available and I had to call them and they showed up after about 40 minutes. The WiFi just works in the reception room and in the room there is no signal.The worst is bites all over my body. I woke up a few 6 in the night itching myself and today there bug bites all over my body. I suspect they have bed bugs. It's not worth the cheap price with bites all over me.

The location was great. A wonderful and friendly restaurant just across the way.... That's it!

Security was a joke. Zero security on main door or dorm room. No lockers for your valuables. I'm traveling alone and I booked a female only dorm. Imagine my surprise when a male member of staff walked through my room in the middle of the nigh to get to his room.... When I mentioned this to the owner and I said it was not nice his reply was "I can imagine". No apology.... nothing. I'm usually positive and leave generous reviews. This place was awful. I spoke to another guest who got charged for arriving late at night even though they state 24 hr check in. They wanted cash and made her go and get cash from an ATM in the middle of the night.... Other issues..... only two bathrooms! And they were grubby. WiFi didn't work apart from in the reception area.... Apparently you have to use different codes in different areas but some staff don't seem to know this....There is a big kitchen and a terrace where guests could gather and share stories (part of the fun of a hostel) but the terrace in particular was a dumping ground.The owner doesn't seem to care about anything except taking your cash.

Great location. Hot water worked fine.

No AC, no window screens (mosquitos), staff was ok but not very friendly, there was a lot of street noise though that is not the hostel's fault, facilities (frig, sink, shower, etc) in poor condition. No working lockers.

I liked the location and the bedrooms were comfortable.

The staff was nice but one night they moved my things to a different bedroom and I didn’t like that.

I like how there are only 4 beds and plenty of space in the rooms.

You have to pay for the towels. I got bitten all over my body by mosquitoes. There were no screens or bug repellents in the room to keep them out and the room is too hot to leave the windows closed.

The place is run down,full of dust .aAll of us got bitten by bed bugs and mosquitoes.The guy is roaming the rooms everyday to remove bugs from the rooms.

I liked the style of the place, old furniture, and beautiful vibe. Nice place to stay in the middle of a historical city. Very close to San Marco in the very middle of all the sights, attractions, and restaurants.
