    Pros +

    • This property was an excellent value for the money. The staff (especially the gentleman who checked us in) provide the service you would expect at a luxury property! We liked this property far more than the Hilton Molino Stucky.
    • Perfect Service.
    • The location was superb. Easy access to Venice but in a quiet neighborhood.

    Cons -

    • No internet in the rooms = no bueno!
    • No complaints.
    • More mosquitoes in the room than guest at the hotel, and there is a dengue warning in Venice. Should fumigate. Safe didn’t work.

The location is perfect for someone who would like to stay close to historic center while being in a nice and quiet neighborhood with a wide range of restaurants overlooking the bay. Delicious breakfast

    Great breakfast and attention.

Great quiet location just 15-30 minutes boat ride

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable but the room was great

    6AlexPosted on: 6-27-2025

Location is convenient to the train station to get in and out of Venice easily without a long ride on the boat. Nice view on a canal.

Giudecca is not very nice and the hotel is a bit cramped; shower was tiny. Coffee was undrinkable, German standards not Italian, and pastries nothing special, better off around the corner. Hotel was recommended to me but I regret not just staying on Lido where the service is much better.

It is quaint and had a nice breakfast. Staff was helpful.

It is boutique without any modern conveniences like a usb port.

    Location was good

I booked a double room. Initially given a small attic room with no windows. Lights weren’t faulty and no air conditioning. Once complained, given another room slightly better

The hotel’s peaceful location on Giudecca Island offers a nice escape from the crowds and noise of central Venice, making it a great place to rest after a busy day. However, due to the disappointing room conditions, poor service, and lackluster breakfast, it’s not a place I’d choose to return to.

What disappointed me:- The room provided was not as shown in the booking photos. It had a small window facing a dirty, half-broken balcony under construction - felt more like a basement than a hotel room (pic attached). - I booked a “no view” room, not a “bad view” one. There’s a difference. A bit of effort - like cleaning the balcony or adding a plant - would’ve helped.- Staff refused to change the room, citing the “no view” policy, which felt dismissive.- Housekeeping and overall service were poor. On our second day, we returned to find our room door left wide open -fortunately, nothing was stolen.- Breakfast was very limited - no fruits and barely any variety.

The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly, breakfast was delicious, the location of the hotel is a bit to far from the airport and a bit tricky to get there,

I didn't like the noises, I was staying in room 4 for 5 night, I couldn't sleep at all, I could hear the people from upstairs walking in the room all night and in the morning they was making very bad noises from 5 am, and the way I was staying downstairs I could hear people coming and going all night, it was really hard to get some sleep, after this trip I had to sleep for one day and a night and still wasn't ok, except the noises everything was good, so avoid to stay downstairs,

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean room.

Breakfast was limited. You need to use a ferry to reach the hotel from the city. The price could be lower for such a limitation.

Very good location. Attentive staff. Good breakfast. Cozy, comfortable, clean room.

    7HeidiPosted on: 11-18-2024

Location was great and the access for the water taxi was superb!!

There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room.

    8GiaconPosted on: 11-10-2024

The location, the very helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. Arriving at the door by taxi was delightful.

Probably nothing can be done about this as heating is regulated: we found the central heating too warm and needed the air conditioner on to sleep comfortably.

I went for a conference at the Hilton Molino Stucky. It was less than a convenient 10 minute stroll away. The hotel is a short walk to excellent restaurants and coffee shops just around the corner at your fingertip. Extremely less touristy and populated than Venezia (and prices reflect it!) I highly recommend staying on Guidecca and getting the short water ferry (only a couple of minutes walk) to the other side. It is easy to wheel your luggage on the pavements to the hotel, or a private water taxi takes you right to their private pier. The hotel was excellent - 24 hour reception and every staff member was always friendly and helpful. VERY clean room - such a comfortable bed and feather doona and excellent power showerhead. Wi-Fi never let me down, amenities in the room, and gorgeous canal view with windows that opened right over the water (also the room had heating/air con) . Really felt like you were living like a local instead of being a tourist. Hotel answered my emails promptly. I didn't have the breakfast but it always smelled fab. Highly recommend as a single travelling female. Hope to come back to Venice again and will be staying here again 100%. 10/10.

The hair dryer in the bathroom could have been more powerful and had more of a nozzle (absolutely a 1% issue that is barely worth mentioning but I was trying to think of a bad point!).

    Bitterly disappointed for £310/night

There was no water (hot or cold) for a shower or even to brush your teeth on the morning of our departure. When I asked about compensation they said it was not possible… ???

    Lift out of order; heater not working, but it was immediately repaired; room too small and with small window, lack of air;
