Hotel Giardinetto Venezia

Small intimate hotel. Staff and the two women overseeing the breakfast were lovely and helpful. Location perfect and convenient-a stone's throw from the ferry landing. Breakfast area was charming-offerings basic but good. Excellent value!

The bathroom was not clean: hair on floor and the shower was dirty. During my stay, the bathroom got no attention. I had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. The shower remained dirty. Otherwise-room was quiet and just right for my needs.

Great staff, clean and comfortable room with a great view across the water of Venice, breakfast was superb! We walked approximately 100 yards from the boat dock to the hotel and were made very welcome by a nice young gentleman at the desk! Bed was great.

Private bathroom was very nice but a bit cozy. Walking up to third floor room was a bit trying, but no doubt helped us get in shape for our walking tours! We were helped up with luggage.

Location just across the transpo starions.

No elevator . Concierge should be abailable during stated hours.

The location of the hotel is in front of the boat station and is very easy to reach the city. I liked the fact that the hotel was small and quiet. The view from our room (although small), worth all the inconvenience. The bed was very comfortable and big enough for 2 persons (this was one of my fears: that the bed is too small). The breakfast was good and they even offered me products without gluten.

Because of the small space in the room, the desk could be replaced with something smaller or shelves for the clothes. Or nothing, for a better use of the space.

Perfect location right in front of Lifo Vaporetto pier. Very warm and welcoming owners and staff catering for gluten intolerant guests. Great breakfast.

Perfect location to get to Venice. Boat stands right out front with a direct boat to airport. Wonderful location for the main part of town with plenty of restaurants. 10 minute walk to the beach. Very laid back in early June.

Amazing friendly staff, superb clean and great breakfast.

Rooms could be a bit loud from the restaurant downstairs if you had the window open, and bathrooms were compact.

The location was good. The hotel was very near the vaporetto stations. The employees were very pleasant. Breakfast was OK.

The room was called small. However, nothing could have prepared us for how small it was.There was only room for one bed (a little bigger than tween but smaller than queen size) and it was on one size touching the wall. The air-conditioning did not work. We could not open the windows because of mosquitos. And we also found a cockroach. Finally, the bread at breakfast was the worst I have ever had.

Room was freezing when I entered after midnight. Wasn’t able to switch on the heater, had a cold night. Found the room to be rather small in relation to the price.

The room was clean, spacious with ensuite shower room. It was a bit dark in the shower and could do with a bit more lighting but the shower quality was more than adequate. Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels and a large bottle of water every day. There is a free safe in the room. Breakfast was basic but again adequate. Freshly made rustic scramble eggs were delicious and there were a selection of cheeses, meats toast and jam etc. Staff were very friendly and also very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend the private water taxi to and from the airport. It was amazing. felt like James Bond coming into town and it dropped us off outside our hotel.

I thought it was a bit pricey at £200 a night

Room size

Modern, clean and cozy. The room was properly cleaned, had comfortable bed, storage spase and shower/wc ensuite.

The ventilation system did bot work in one of the rooms properly. Helped when opened the window though.
