    • This was a 3 star hotel with 5star service!!! Rooms were beautiful and the breakfast area on the second floor was amazing. Great location and great service!!!
    • The Arcadia Hotel was lovely!, the owner, and his staff were exceptional. I work in The Ritz-Carlton Residences world and the service at and attention from Arcadia staff rivalled the service of the Ritz. I will defiantly stay again.
    • Decoration was fantastic. Location was excellent.

    Cons -

    • Need bath mat in the shower. The shower floor was slippery. Fell in shower.
    • There was no elevator, steep stairs just to get to the reception. I booked 3 rooms- for every little extra charge they had to repeatedly ask me to pay, not waiting till I checked out. There was no eating in the rooms. No feeling welcome. No children- not even for a few minutes without the 3rd degree. I felt like they were doing us a favor to stay there. I would never recommend it to anyone.
    • All was very good . For the people that want to stay here don’t make my mistake to take to much luggage as their is no transportation so you need to carry your luggage through several bridges .

The room is pretty, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. Each of the staff members was very welcoming, polite, and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying there.

My week-long stay at this hotel was exceptional in many ways, but what touched me most was the hospitality, genuine care, and empathy of the staff. Every interaction with each staff member was warm and authentic. Their thoughtful guidance—from choosing between a water bus shuttle or a taxi to the airport, to advice on payment methods and restaurant locations—made a real difference. Of course, I could have researched these details on my own, but the staff saved me considerable time and energy.Elena, in particular, was always ready to help, offering deeply local and practical insights on everything from transportation to dining. The staff in the breakfast area were equally warm and attentive, and the breakfast itself was excellent. Overall, the hotel felt welcoming and homey—true luxuries while traveling.I plan to return to Venice and will most certainly stay at the Arcadia again.

Everything about our stay was wonderful, having stayed in Venice previously we knew the location was perfect, but we were very pleasantly surprised with the warm welcome, helpful staff, lovely room and great breakfast.Would definitely recommend it highly.

I booked the single room. Expectedly small, but the bathroom was a bit narrow. Maybe most of Venice hotels have limited space. The hotel was easy to get to from the train station. When you exit the station, turn left and walk about 5-8 minutes.

The location was the best part of the hotel. The night staff was nice. The rooms were very clean. If you’re looking for a very small hotel, with no need of assistance- this is your place. They were very helpful in finding me a water taxi and even helped bring out all my luggage.

Close to train station and easy walking distance to all of Venice’s attractions. Great breakfast!! Staff were excellent in answering our questions.

Immaculate and beautiful interior of room and common areas. Delicious breakfast offerings in the morning. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times.

No elevator for baggage and there are cheaper options available for that type of hotel.

Great hotel that has been nicely renovated. The bed was comfortable and the space was adequate for solo or couple travelers. A less than 10-minute walk to Venice Santa Lucia station is also a big plus. Let me not forget the front desk people who are very welcoming and very accommodating.

The TV could be a little bigger, if I'm being picky.

Upscale hotel close to train station. Great location for day trips into city centre. Substantial breakfast. Elegant environment and spacious room.

Pricey for our Canadian exchange rate.

Breakfast dining room was the most beautiful of our entire trip! The food was great as well and the staff perfect.

    9EvelynPosted on: 5-29-2025

Decor throughout, location, attentiveness of all staff, excellent breakfast

No lift. However, staff helped with luggage on the stairs.I could not fault this boutique except for the many stairs.

    10DanarenaePosted on: 5-23-2025

Staff was friendly, accommodating for luggage storage before and after my stay, and the location was great. It is a short walk from the train (easy with luggage) station but not next to it so it's away from the middle of the crowds. The hotel is near good restaurants and there are several vaporetto stops nearby to easily get around to all points-- Venice is also very walkable. The breakfast buffet is well done, rooms clean, Wifi strong, and I would certainly stay again!

Location is great, about 10 mins from train station. You do need to pass a bridge to get to the hotel tho, if you are with big suitcase, better hide the portable “human” taxi to help move your stuff. The hotel is relatively new, just few years old, used to be a palace, according to the staff there. We got breakfast there, and it’s great!

The only thing I say is that the room we got is very small. But I can’t complain since it’s Venezia.
