Hotel San Giorgio

The man at the front desk in the evening was extremely helpful and nice. The location was good.

Hotel listing said it had AC it very clearly never had AC. The wallpaper was coming off the wall. The shower was so small it was barely useable. It was so hot in our room we had to leave the windows open but because of that we got many mosquito bites.

Nothing in particular stands out. Everything is very functional. The staff is nice. The location is about 5min walk from everything.

The room is SMALL. You can touch all four walls while standing in the center of the room. The room has a mildew smell, but opening the windows made it go away in 30mins. You can feel the springs in this bed. Ouch! Ouch!

The location is unbeatable and easy to access.

Bathroom: broken shower, bad smell. Air conditioner and the digital safe wasn’t working, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, small room.

I like the breakfast and the lady who served it . Also the location of property was convenient .

The size of the room was really small and was not suitable fir two person and the behaviour of the receptionist was not convenient and there was no water kettle in the room which is very popular

The guy on reception was very friendly

No power when I checked in and wasn't sorted u til the next day. There was no hot water and the shower was pathetic no pressure and falling apart

The staff was polite and the location is great.

Unless you’re really on a tight budget, I will say no for this hotel. The room is tiny and the sink and right above the toilet. ? when you are sitting in the toilet, your legs can easily be hit by the sink. But you get what you pay for, however I wanna warn you in advance.

I stayed for only one night and for that purpose, it’s great! Close to everything you need in Venice and friendly staff.

The room and facilities were very dirty!!! Bad smells, no heating, small room and holes in the ceilings - exposed wires and no smoke alarm!

The room was clean.

There are no major problems with it. The shower switcher was half broken, but both modes were working. (Showering with hose head and pouring from above)The room's window has now view.

It was difficult to find in the dark.. the evening reception guy was helpful and friendly..Good location with a supermarket nearby.

The room was a tight squeeze.no.19. crooked mirror..the spotlight in the shower was hanging out of its socket. a Hazard with a child.The only plug socket was too far to charge my phone and lean on something safe.It was 31 October Halloween and 1 November was a national holiday..so packed hotel..In the morning we were looking forward to a shower.. the shower didn't work.. No water.. we were early enough to catch a train, but with the shower not working and the stupid rude morning reception, the housekeeper shouting at each other to fix it. We were given another used room ..to shower.No form of an apology , or compensation of any kind !

The AC was not working, the person in the front desk said "If you don't find the rooms suitable, you can go"

No air conditioning, false advertising, room smelt musty, room was not a superior room that was advertised, no safe in room, no bottled water available, it is meant to be 3 star hotel more like a 1 star B&B

Location was handy

No help with luggage up the stairs, no aircon facilities, need to have a sign on the door so people can find it easier.

Nothing. The room should never had been rented out! If I could give it minus 10, I would!

There was no regular hot water, the bed was lumpy, the room was clearly water damaged, the hallways smelled like toilets were backed up. The window looked out onto a brick wall with no air and we kept it closed. The room should not have been rented out at all. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Good location, close to the rialto bridge and St Marks

When we arrived at the property, the rooms were extremely basic on first inspection. We were told the room we had didn’t have air conditioning but they had put fans in there. The fans didn’t help at all, the bathroom especially was ridiculously hot. Then, our room became infested with ants. They crawled all over our belongings and in our bed. When we complained about this, no apology was offered they just demanded we sent proof before they took action. Over 6 hours later they removed us to a new room which did have AC but still hand ants in it, but not as many as the first.

The location was good, friendly staff

No functioning safe in the room, since had to take everything with us when we were out touring.

Scam

The hotel scammed me for hundreds of euros, forced me to cancel because the aircondition wasnt working - i had to get a new hotel on the spot. Very stressful & they never paid me back for three nights even though they promised a refund within two working days. Filthy and run down. They lied when i arrived too, saying i could check in in four hours, knowing full well they wouldnt be able to accomodate us. Would not recommend.
