The location to the train station is great, but the name of the hotel did not match the reservation name. the sign on the outside says Amadeus not Hotiday, so that was a bit confusing.

The one aspect of a hotel room is the comfort of the bed. The hotel staff were less than welcoming and the beds were terrible. My friend and I spent three nights here and could not sleep because the beds are as hard as a rock, or much like sleeping on a box spring. I would recommend that they be upgraded especially with the amount this hotel charges.

I loved the location because we caught the train and there was no need to take the water taxi schlepping our luggage on and off a boat. Once we located the hotel and stored our luggage we caught the water taxi to the main square. The ride is about 15-20 minutes after all the stops.Venice is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in Italy.

I dont have anything bad to say about Venice, its one of my favorites. I didn't like the person at the hotel who escorted us to our room, which was not necessary. He gave us attitude because he didn't like the tip I gave him. I think he was the owner/bellman. But the hotel elevators are so small and it was very tight with 3 ppl and 2 of us with luggage. Anywho, it was a nice hotel and served its purpose.

The room is big and the furniture is pretty, I saw some people complainig about the alexa in the room, just shut the camera off and it should be okay, ours had the camera off already. Its about 5 minutes away from Venice Santa Lucia train station, our fare included breakfast and it was very good they offered coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, bacon, variety of cheeses and breads, so if you get a good price with breakfast included dont hesitate to take it. Everything was clean, the bathroom was very big and pretty too, they also have a lift if you are worried about this as some hotels in Venice dont have lifts this one does. They also have very pretty and big toilets in the reception that you can use once you check out. The staff overall was okay as well.

We made a reservation of a room with a single bed and a queen beed next to it, and thats what the photos in our reservation showed but once we arrived we got a room with 2 single beds turned into a king bed we told them we specifically booked this room as we wanted 2 separate beds, they told us they could separate the beds next day but not that night as there was no longer someone from service room, they said it was impossible and got a bit mad at us for requesting this, WHY?? They did solve the issue but we had to sleep in one bed the first night because they messed up our reservation so even if you book two beds double check with them that they will set up the room like that as they dont seem to double check on their side. I would have made it clear to them before my arrival but nowhere in my reservation said we were getting one king bed.

The location was perfect. Walking distance from the city center but also very close to the train and bus station. The room was clean and comfortable.Interesting to note that it is much easier to find the Amadeus hotel since Hotiday owns rooms in that hôtel.

Location was the reason I booked this hotel; unfortunately I did not get to take advantage of the location.

Upon arrival, I went to the front desk to get checked in. The desk clerk told me that they had my reservation, but not my room number? He then told me to call Hotiday and ask for my room number...so I did. It was Sunday so apparently that is a difficult time for this company, and I spent the next 2 hours in the lobby trying to get hold of Hotiday/booking.com; with limited success. Finally I got through by choosing the 'book your room now' option on the voice mail. I was informed that the reservation I had made and paid for would not be honored; and if I wanted a room I would need to go to ANOTHER ISLAND IN VENICE to be housed. Since I was traveling in July, the availability of rooms was limited because it was the height of tourist season. I spoke again to the desk clerk, who was very rude. He screamed at me that Hotiday buys a room for a year, then marks it up and sells it on their website! Told me it was MY FAULT for using booking.com and should have known better. He then advised me to take a water taxi to the other island which cost my 70 euro! All in all a very stressful expreience.

Everything was great, the room looked just like in the picture and the location was perfect, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is quite big

It’s a scam! Hotday is not an actual hotel. It’s a fake listing. Once you arrive and pay (non-refundable), you receive a vague message saying you might be relocated to a “partner hotel” — but the truth is, Hotday does not exist at all. They place you in Hotel Amadeus, a completely different property with very poor standards: two to three stars at best, with an inefficient reception and bad service.You only discover the scam once you’re already there, with no option to cancel or get your money back. Hotel Amadeus refuses any responsibility and says the issue is with the platform. No help, no assistance — you’re completely on your own.I contacted customer service immediately and received no response for over 7 days. I ended up paying for two hotels on the same date because I refused to stay in that shady place and booked another room at a nearby NH Hotel instead.Absolutely unacceptable. Do not book this property — it’s misleading, dishonest, and should be removed from any platform immediately.

The breakfast was good

I asked for a one double bed and they give me two twins that were separated all the time when we were sleeping.

A bit dark in the room

Hotel is very close to the station and very well located

If travelling on the summer the AC is not good. Bathroom smelled off. If you didn't arrive to the breakfast very early you would not get any eggs, when asked for more I was ignored.

A little bit noisy, because of the good location

Located few minutes walking from train station so not much straggling with luggage :). Windows of mine room faced to main street so was a bit noisy but bearable. Simple, repeatable breakfasts with selection of typical hot and cold dishes were acceptable. Perfect housekeeping, very clean and it was maintained daily!!! Stylish room with spacious and clean bathroom.

At the beginning of the stay Hotiday has some issue to provide coffee capsules to the in the room coffee machine but it was sorted out after some discussion at the reception and sending notes to Hotiday, So coffee crisis mitigated at the end :).

Location is perfect for someone who plans to visit more than Venice, Comfort and nice rooms.

+ Location near pIazza di roma bus station, good walking distance with 3 year old son:)+ breakfast had pancake machine and also scrambled eggs and beacon, which is not ordinary for cheap stays under 100 eur/per night in March.+ room had small bath which was perfect for kid

- extremely thin walls, all sounds and words from other rooms are audible. I have not experienced so thin walls. I read reviwes but I was still amazed.- broken coffe maker with tea and sugar and cups on the room table with printed A4 that says “not working” - just take this away from the room please, and make a room for something else:)- check in process was automatic but had errors, for instance id card of 3-year-old was not accepted and check in took 15 minutes at front desk despite it was done via online check in as well.- as hotiday just uses a room from amadeus hotel hotel wont give you an invoice-

Good breakfast which you were provided various options. We had issue with the check in at midnight, but the staffs were helpful and solved the problem.

Personally, the room looked a bit older than the picture, but it was clean and the location was close to everything.

Booked Hotiday Hotel on booking.com. And when I arrived at the address but. I couldn't find the Hotiday hotel sign on the address. . So, I hung around the area for a long time to look for the Hotdiday sign, but Amadeus was there.Later, from the fromt people of Amadeus Hotel, I found out Amadeus is the original hotel of the address , and Hotiday is doing the hotel business by renting 5 rooms from Amadeus HotelIt was very hard for me to understand the situation. It was my first time to have stayed at the hotel where no name of the Hotel name outside. Even inside until I went up to the room with a hotel employee. A friend living in venice, he would like to visit me at my hotel, I had to say please find Anadeus, not Hktiday. "Forget the name Hotdiday that I gave you at Milano and remember the Amadeus." I regret that I should have asked to book the hotel to my friend, not through online directly . Who would like the such experience??
