What Guests Loved

Pros +
- It is very close to the train station, so we did not have to suffer the lugging of our large suitcase through narrow streets and over multiple bridges. We love the room facing the canal and the afternoon sun.
- We booked it the same day we arrived. We arrived late after some confusion with reservations at another hotel. Luca was at the front desk and was kind and helpful, and because of our late arrival, upgraded us to a suite.
- Very helpful and friendly staff. Good restaurant/bar on premises. Perfect location for the Biennale. Nice, green, quiet neighborhood and close to the vaporetto stop. Nice sized room, with good comfortable bed, but that had its disadvantages, too.
Cons -
- The atmosphere is rather gloomy. Some improvement of the managing is definitely needed.
- Not a thing! It is a little more of a distance from the heart of Venice than some people might like, but we loved the quiet neighborhood and we enjoy walking so we were delighted!
- The room's door was right next to my bed, so I could hear the comings and goings of guests in the hallway (tile, no carpet). The cleaning staff was quite loud cleaning rooms on my floor. When I wanted to sleep in, I couldn't.

Very quiet area, away from all the noise and movement but 10 minutes away by vaporetto. Nice Hotel, great staff
Very nice amenities, breakfast, and location for transportation needs.
Restaurant options are limited.
Beautiful location - quiet, lovely, green neighborhood a 2 minute walk to the vaporetto stop. Beautiful courtyard with lovely lounge furniture. Well staffed. Rooms well designed and attractive. All the modern conveniences. Nice cafe around the corner.
Breakfast at 9 euro could have been better, very ordinary, nothing special.
The room was clean as expected. Nothing exceptional about this hotel to mention. location was a little remote from the main square, which was ok. It was a pleasant walk thru the quaint and quiet residential area.
The room was not as depicted in the online photos. The verbal representation of the room was exaggerated. The staff continuously barraged us to purchase the Breakfast inclusion. Which I understood to already have been included when we bought online.
Very clean and comfortable. The room was very spacious and well laid out. Breakfast was delicious and the one dinner we had there was very good and reasonable for Venice standards.
The only down side is that it is a little far from everything. This is no problem if you buy Vaporetto (water bus) tickets. Otherwise it takes a good half hour to walk to San Marco.
The staff are superb. The hotel is far from the madding crowds and it is nice to have a hotel in a quiet neighborhood.
Air conditioning was inadequate. Breakfast needs to have different items daily.
Great hotel situated in a quite part of venice.
Location
Great service, kind, acommodating. Great facilities. It is a little far to get to. but Sta. Helena is so charming, with great history.
We liked almost everything.
Everything was Fantastic!
5am I woke up with noises from the street. Luggage’s noise and loud people.Still when I complained they offer to swap rooms.
The location is quiet and close to the biennale venues. It’s safe and away from all the tourists’ chaos. You get to see and meet real Venetians.
Staff is kind and professional.
Looks better in the photos than in the reality. Room was tiny with no space to walk around. Other than the lobby, other areas look a bit run down and give the vibes of an old office building or a hospital.
Beautiful room, very clean, amazing location.Tasty and diversified breakfast.
The staff were great! Breakfast was great. We loved the quiet location.
Our room was warm. We were provided a fan when it wouldn’t get any cooler.
Sadly the gardens were closed and we would have enjoyed spending time out there. Otherwise the stay there was great. Breakfast was varied and staff attentive.
The location was very good. It was inside Venice and also wasn't in the middle of the mess. It was really easy to get to the hotel through boat. The staff was kind and helpful. Great value of the money.
The shower could be better. No pressure in the water and it wasn't that warm. The region was really good, but if you need something to eat after 10PM you will struggle to find something nearby.
