Pros +
- A very quiant nice little place, excellent location for Teatro La Fenice. This place is old school, so the carpets are worn and maybe it can baffle the younger folks, e.g. keys that need to be left at reception and a very deliberate (to avoid saying "slow") service, but it is excellent in its old style, if you have reasonable expectations considering how inexpensive it also is
- BEAUTIFUL hotel! Our room had a view of the canal and the room was stunning. Great location for water taxi pickup/drop off.
- Great location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds
Cons -
- I liked everything (which is very, very rare with me)
- Noise of garbage collection barge in the canal mornings, but that’s not the hotels fault!
- Small room and bathroom.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds
Perfect location, great breakfast, fantastic, friendly staff
Noise of garbage collection barge in the canal mornings, but that’s not the hotels fault!
Very nice small hotel in the city center, close to the San Marco square and Rialto bridge. Breakfast is good for 3 stars hotel. If you want to stay 2 or 3 nights in Venice, it's right hotel for you.
Small room and bathroom.
Everything is perfect. Great for the cost. Amazing rooms, breakfast and location. Very clean. Staff is friendly. 10/10
Everything was perfect
Centrally located. Variety of food for breakfast. Tastefully done
Small bathrooms
Was clean and staff was very helpful
The sign is very small so a little hard to find - need google maps!
Warm radiant heat in the rooms. Good breakfast. Good location close to vaporettos and San Marcos.
Restaurant choices near the hotel were limited.
The location is great!I recommend to stay in a suit not just anormal room !The balcony and the views worth it! The breakfast and the room were beyond expectations!
I’m ok with having no elevator since i am a light travelerBut i totally recommend having one
My husband and I have been to Venice many times. We were fortunate because every hotel we stayed in was good. But the best of all was Centauro. In terms of its personnel, location, cleanliness and comfort. No doubt, if and when we come again, we will stay again in Centauro. Highly recommended
Great location. Staff recommendations for eating spots were great. The hotel reflected to overall ambience of Venice, which is what we wanted. We had a complicated reservation as we added an extra day at the last minute, and this was not a problem.
Breakfast was adequate, but not exceptional. It is a little hard to find the first time, but easy to get to once you know where it is. The room was small (by US standards) but well appointed. We would gladly stay there again.
Room was uniquely decorated, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, location was really close to everything.
No windows to the room and the shower was really tiny
The hotel was very clean and breakfast was excellent.
Rooms need to be updated.
Enjoyed the breakfast, the room it was served in was beautiful, and the location of the hotel was great.
The stairs were hard to carry up our luggage to the third floor, but we knew ahead of time there wasn’t a lift.
Great location, good breakfast
No elevator, smaller room
Good location.
Shower was the size of a coffin. The decor was like something out of my grandma's formal dining room in the 70s.
Above the canal , location was ok.
Venice is difficult place to get around for first timers.
Good breakfast and very helpful staff. The location is convenient to everything and near the water bus route. The room and bathroom were clean.
No elevator, but we did expect it. Price was high, but so is everything in Venice.
Location good -but difficult to locate;Breakfast okay.
No lift -had to carry bags upstairs.Did not like that we were forced to pay cash on checkout, They claimed that their u=internet was out.Tiny, tiny room - don't recommend this place. except maybe to single travelers.
