- The only good thing is its proximity to the train station. But if you're taking a cab to the airport, you will have to cross the bridge on the other side of the train station. So it's only a good location if you're using the train both in & out of Venice.

- Great location!!@
Cons -
- No elevator so haul your suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. Stuffy rooms with no air conditioning. Unfriendly staff at the reception.
- Breakfast wasn't particularly good. "Meat" was a little tub of liver wurst, cheese was likewise a wrapped triangle of processed cheese food. Ewww. Day manager was surly & unpleasant, as was one of the breakfast ladies.
- Very cold room. No heat in the winter. The thermostat didn’t respond. Only blankets and no comforter. I had to alway in sweatpants. The blinds don’t close all the way. Walls are paper thin. You can hear someone taking a piss and flushing toilet. Finally rude guy at the reception.

Nothing. Absolutely terrible place.

The breakfast was good. The location was excellent. The room was clean. The staff was nice.
The windows wouldn't stay open. The bathroom was very narrow and crowded. One day of my stay they had a sewer problem that was so awful I couldn't be in the room for several hours.
We liked the hospitality of the personnel. Special thank to the lady that manage the breakfast session. Easy access to transportation. Recommended.
The best location ever - next to the train station and there is a good restaurant near by - very convenient to everything.
The room is somewhat small, but it is Europe size.
It is in a v central location few blocks from the train station and it is warm and clean
The room is small
We would like to thank Lidia for exceptional customer service ! My wife had a small accident on the stairs and needed to go to the hospital. Lidia took care of all the arrangements very quickly and efficiently.
Excellent location, wonderful bed and pillows! Staff very excellent in helping us get to our transportation. I would stay again !
Or rate was a bit expensive .
Good location. Great value for money. Good breakfast.
Travelled with my adult daughter. Lovely one night stay. Close to the train/bus station which made getting our luggage there fairly easy! No canal view, but we were out sightseeing most of the day and evening. Good breakfast included. Pleasant staff
No good views from windows, no balcony. Hair dryer shuts off after about 45 secs. Need to wait for it to cool before using again, this is frustrating!
Liked the location and the modern design to the hotel
Front desk dark skin man being unwelcoming and rude. The bathroom was not cleaned properly at all.
Location location location was super good
Nice and clean the staff super good the breakfast was delicious
The location was excellent. Close to the train station, was a big plus! We had no issues. Also, the location was quiet away from the crowds which it was great. Definitely recommend this place.
Too mad to even say anything positive
The bathroom in our room had a horrible smell—So bad that we couldn’t even go in there. I went to the front desk to tell them, and the girl working tried to tell me that the smell was just “the smell of Venice”, and that there was nothing they could do…I learned this was a blatant lie. I told her that didn’t make sense because 1) the smell was only in the bathroom and not the bedroom area 2) the streets of Venice did not smell like this and 3) I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and the bathroom did not smell like that then. She did not do anything and still insisted there wasn’t anything she could do. I did my own research and discovered the smell was sewer gas, coming from the floor drain by the sink likely caused by water not being run through it. I ran water through the drain a few times and the smell cleared. Sewage gas has not only smells horrible, but it can be dangerous to your health when inhaled. I truly cannot believe this hotel gave me this room with the bathroom smelling like that (there is zero chance the maid and management were not aware), and then on top of it, when I went to tell them, they didn’t do anything. A simple call to maintenance would have solved this issue. It shows me that they truly did not care for my comfort, of health and safety to ignore me. If a bathroom smells that horrible, a hotel should figure out a solution. You don’t send a guest back to an unsafe and disgusting room. Maintenance should have been called…if no rooms were available to switch us into, they should have paid to put us up in a different hotel. They didn’t do any investigating into the smell, and I had to fix the problem myself. For over $600 for 2 nights, this is insanely terrible customer service. Very inconsiderate and rude. Go anywhere else.
The location is perfect. It is only 2-minute walk from the train station. Even if the hotel is located so close, there was no noise at all. We slept very well. The bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast buffet is reasonable.
The smell in the room. There was a constant annoying bad smell in the bathroom which spread in the room. I informed the staff. They said it is the smell of Venise, but there was no smell/odor in the city at all.
This hotel was in a great location. Close to the train and the water taxis. Breakfast was included and was good. It is a small room, no frills, but the price is right and the location is fantastic. The staff was very helpful. You should note that an uber or other car will not get you to the hotel. They will drop you off a couple of blocks away and then you have to drag your luggage over a large bridge - it is very difficult after many hours of traveling. However, this is a great option for Venice at a good rate.
I tried to find out from the hotel the best way to get from the airport to the hotel and they arranged a car service, which was great. But as I mentioned above, it drops you off no where near the hotel. It would have been better to take a water taxi. I wish the hotel staff had communicated that option as the best.
Amazing location, walkable from the bus and train station and literally around the corner from a vaporetto hub and the Scalzi bridge, and still calm for being in a quiet side street. The photos do the rooms justice, comfy beds and beautiful bathroom, very clean, with a fridge, and as others have noted - the breakfast is truly excellent. A little too much on the sweet side for my particular taste, I would have liked more savoury options, but the quality and variety of choice cannot be faulted (even my non-sweet-tooth tested itself through their delicious cakes). Crucially: steady and speedy wifi.
Oddly, the curtains only framed the window, and the shutters were bolted open, and although we asked for help twice, nothing could be done, so we had to macgyver the curtains over the windows semi-shut with some hair-ties so the light from the street wouldn't keep us awake.
Great location - close to train station and activities but on a quiet alley.
Automatic coffee/cappuccino machine instead of a human barista.
