Pros +
- We had an excellent stay at Ca’ di Dio. The hotel is beautiful! The staff is very professional and accommodating. They arranged a water taxi to and from the train station which worked perfectly. The Christmas decorations were very lovely. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. The bar is a must visit. We will gladly stay there again.
- I had a wonderful stay at Ca’ di Dio – VRetreats. The room was beautifully designed, very spacious, and exceptionally clean. I loved the amenities in the washroom, and I truly appreciated that the team kindly accepted my late check-out request so my mom could have the room to pray — a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to us.The location is lovely — about a 20-minute walk to the center, but the walk itself is beautiful with charming restaurants along the way. Their meet-and-greet service was incredibly helpful, especially since it was my first time in Venice. The breakfast was exceptional. Even though we missed the buffet time, the staff went above and beyond to serve us with warmth and generosity.Overall, a truly memorable experience — thank you for making our short stay so comfortable and special.
- Everything, the rooms were amazing and spacious the view the facilities
Cons -
- Everything was perfect.
- Not really the hotel, but beware of the glass and lace tours offered at Ca' Di Dio - they offer it as a free service to visit their factories/shops, but once you're there, they press hard to sell some expensive goods. It was worth the tour, but be prepared to be say no if you're not interested in paying a lot of money.
- Didn’t like the staff pushing us to have dinner in the restaurant, felt very salesy.

The property is easily accessible via the water bus. It is also located in an area that is quiet but not far from major venues. The amenities are also very modern and with familiar comforts for those visiting from the US.
Everything. It was the Redentore night so the lagoon view was important and we had it.
The staff was very helpful, including concierge who helped set up dinner reservations and things to do.

Beautiful property and a wonderful breakfast spread, nice location close enough to everything but not in a super busy area.
Didn’t like the staff pushing us to have dinner in the restaurant, felt very salesy.
We returned to this hotel after staying with them last year. - location is perfect. Easy walk to all sights, but not chaotic. - easy water taxi access- beautiful, large luxurious rooms- excellent staff- amazing breakfast- we have received significant upgrades each time we have stayed
When I left
They simply steal your money for 15 percent service charge what they do not inform you about it even when you pay tip at the dinner or similar

Location
Decoration, design and quality of the materials used in the hotel it is average. The atmosphere of the hotel it is like a business hotel. Service is poor and with no attention to detail.
Staff were always very helpful, location was good as was near various vaporetto stops, in a quiet area relative to other hotels, rooms were a good size/format, with turn downs/regular cleans throughout the day, breakfast, lunch & dinner available, as well as small spa/sauna facilities, with massage if requested. Complimentary tour to Murano was also a pleasant surprise.
Nothing really, spa facilities could've been slightly larger, but we weren't really there for that on this occasion.
Location and layout / design
Room was a little too warm and controls for AC were overly complex
Great location, very comfy bed , exceptional cleanliness, tranquil courtyard, very good food
Great location, excellent staff. Amazing restaurant
Beautifully designed hotel throughout with a lovely internal courtyard garden and also tables outside overlooking the lagoon which are perfect for an evening aperitif. Very good service from all of the staff including front of house; at breakfast and in the beautiful bar. Very good buffet style breakfast with a wide choice of fresh food and fab patisserie. Great location - easy walk to St Mark's but also close to vaporetto stops and close to a slightly more peaceful part of the city and the Arsenale. The hotel also has its own pier so we were able to arrive directly from the airport by water taxi. Really a first rate hotel all round.
I cannot think of anything that could have been better.
Great location, a bit of peace and quiet in a crazy busy place. Facilities first class, room was superb. Staff were just the right sort of attentive. Excellent bar with a decent whisky selection which was a surprise for Italy.
Beautiful room and really lovely staffGreat facilities Fab location
I liked the location & the staff was friendly espically Marco he helped us & suggest for us where to vist & resturants
Nill
The best thing about this hotel are the staff: warm, welcoming, incredibly helpful! The location is excellent. It is relatively quiet for Venice, and yet just a few minutes from St Mark's square and next to the Arsenale vaporetto stop. The bedrooms are peaceful and well thought out with everything you would expect from a luxury hotel. The beds deserve a comment - huge and extremely comfortable.
