Ruzzini Palace Hotel

Everything! Wow, it was the best hotel we stayed at during our 2 week trip. Very big room and bathroom, comfortable beds, nice armoir to hang clothes in and the best part was the 2 windows that opened onto the below courtyard

All the employees were super helpful and patient!

Really friendly staff, 24 hour front desk service, great comfy rooms, great breakfest and food. Really enjoyed our stay here and would book again :)

Great location, friendly & professional stuff, comfortable rooms

The staff were wonderful. Although small, the room was quite comfortable and had drawers for our clothes, a safe for valuables, and a great bathroom. Location was ideal. First time in Venice and what a great introduction to a great city and region.

A somewhat larger room would have been nice. I like having a bedside table with enough space for my personal items. Both bedside tables were small.

Location, cleanliness and customer service

The water that was kept in the room, wasnt easy to drinkAlso the 6th floor is not recommended to stay for taller ppl as the roof is shorter

The location is pretty amazing, and the rooms are good in size, cleanness and the staff are amazing, helpful and super friendly. Breakfast is very delicious and you have many choices of food and beverages.

Great location and friendly reception and staff - proximity to all main areas

Great location and new good restaurants and Saint Marks Square. Excellent access from the water as well as the land side.

Our room on the top floor was strange and that it had a very slanted roof and not easy access to one part of the room. I would not recommend the sixth floor for that reason or at least the room that we had.

We stayed in wonderful apartments with a view of the square. The location was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was simple but good. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Breakfast could have been of higher quality. Coffee/espresso was not the best for the price.

Very nice staff

Really stuffy rooms, the fan and air conditioning barely did anything and the top floor is very warm, even in October. Everything in Venice is old but this hotel feels dated and like it was last updated 40 years ago.

The staff was amazing and accommodating from the time we booked through our stay. Several gluten free choices for breakfast. We really enjoyed the hotel and thought the location was excellent.

Staff are professional and very hospitable. Clean hotel and easy to locate; center to everything. We loved the hotel dock, convenient for water taxi direct to your hotel. Location felt safe especially the plaza in-front.

Staff was thee BEST! Location was excellent as well! Room had an interesting layout but very clean and comfortable beds!

The bartender, Rino, was splendid. He was so happy and accommodating every time we came in. I can't say enough about how pleasant he was.

Front desk staff were dismissive and rude. On check in, our friends, who had upgraded rooms, were given the wrong key and we were placed in their room instead. When our friends realized the room was incorrect, they requested a change from the desk staff and were told it was their fault for going to the wrong room and they'd have to trade with us. Unfortunately, by that point, we'd already unpacked and showered in their room. The desk staff didn't apologize and treated us like we were stupid for not having immediately realized the error ourselves.

The location was excellent—not too touristy and with kids playing soccer each afternoon. Yet there are cafes and a wonderful coffee shop on the square. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved our canal-side room and the passing boats.

There was nothing we did not like.
