Hotel Bucintoro

The room was amazing, the location is perfect. The room was huge, shower nice, plenty of space.

The wifi did not work. My phone provider charged me 15 cents per MB of download. The hotel website said it had wifi, then the managers claimed their provider could not get it to work for new clients. So I asked for a credit, waiting to hear.

I loved everything about this hotel starting with the staff !! These individuals are exceptional!! They made our stay feel like home. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and pleasure!! Perfect!!

Everything was just wonderful. Staff were great, view from our room was fantastic.Hotel has old world charm with keys left at reception.Breakfast that was included was superb.

Location and staff are excellent.Location convenient to the water buses yet quiet for sleeping Staff very helpful answering questions concerning where to eat, water bus timetables, etc

Only downside is the breakfast. Eggs whether scrambled or hard boiled were fine but boring toast and hard rolls. Only ham no turkey. Didn’t replenish the strawberries. Lots of rich cakes - not the healthiest of choices

Everything! The hotel was gorgeous, comfortable and inviting. The breakfast was delicious and the amenities were plenty. Marco was outstanding. He was so sweet to me because he knew I had a sore throat. He and Stephano got me salt to gargle with, lemon tea and directed us to the pharmacy. All with smiles. The owner Gio was gracious and made sure we felt at home. Definitely returning. Ciao!

Being sick

Location was fabulous for a quiet night sleep and easy on & off the Vaporetto. The staff was absolutely incredible and the owner was kind and interactive. The breakfast buffet was delicious and very well “stocked”

Location was perfect and close to a vaporetto stop. The view of the Venice lagoon was excellent and the room tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very good and served in a lovely room overlooking the water.

Location is excellent beautiful view. Breakfast was excellent. Very attentive the staff anything you need. I was taken back with size of room thought it was larger in pictures on line….But it was ok lovely hotel. I would come back.

Our room was small and dusty.

We had a wonderful stay, especially due to fantastic staff, in the front desk, and all service areas. All of the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, incredibly helpful with recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and in general any question. The breakfast was excellent quality and again hosted by very friendly staff. The location was excellent, a short walk from st marco square but distant enough to enjoy quietness. Strongly recommend to get a room with view - you won't need to go anywhere to see the sunset or moon night! We will be back.

Nice location , very quiet and close to San Marco. Vaporetto station just 2 minutes away. Amazing view from the room. Staff is very supportive, specifically Murad

Location is amazing being a leisurely stroll along the water right to st marks square. It’s also quieter than the main touristic places. Water bus stop is pretty close.

There was some dust in the room, black mold on the under lip of the bathtub, and one of the outlets wasn’t working. We let the staff know, but were not moved because it was booked up and we were only there for 2 nights

Amazing location right on the waterfront close to all public water transport , wonderful friendly ,warm staff who are extremely helpful .Comfortable beds ,delicious buffet breakfast Have stayed here on 2 occasions.

Very minor things but would love more tea and milk in the room and the option of a firmer pillow and an iron and ironing board . Would love almond milk as an option for coffee in the morning at the buffet ( bought my own) not a major problem at all though.

The Hotel Bucintoro is WONDERFUL! The staff is very intent on making your stay a very pleasant experience. Luca, Marco and Luis were so helpful and friendly in the check-in, booking a gondola activity and arranging our transport from Chioggia Port. Even the housekeeper and restaurant employees went out of their way to be kind and helpful. The hotel is in a great location on the main canal and our room had an excellent direct view of the Grande Canal. The room was beautiful Venetian style décor and was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We felt we were definitely traveling in luxury with our stay at the Hotel Bucintoro and we highly recommend them for your stay in Venice.

We liked everything (there was nothing we didn't like).

I really liked being about to open the window and look out over the lagoon...and hear the church bells. Also the breakfast was excellent.
