- It’s right in the middle of everything, mic you open your windows you can hear the the people on the street enjoying the day.The staff is so friendly and gave us great restaurant suggestions and they booked our transportation to your ship. Cons -
- We had lights right outside our window that were very bright but we were able to move the curtains enough to block most of it out.
- Hard to find but as it was my first time in Venice I think everything is difficult to find to be honest.
- It was a bit of a walk with our luggage from the port but part of that was our fault as we got lost.

Location, cleanliness, wonderful breakfast,quiet.
We loved the Hotel Al Piave. The room was homey yet elegant. The staff went out of their way to welcome us, provide gluten free food, and arrange a private water taxi. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. We also loved the location of the hotel- not far from St. Mark’s Square.
The only drawback was that the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor but our room was on the 4th floor. We had to carry our luggage down a flight of stairs in the early morning when staff was not available to assist.
Good location, nice breakfast, clean rooms.
For Venice it was a fair value. It was very safe as well.
Like others have posted, the cleaning staff opened the windows, even after we had them closed, and let mosquitoes into the room. It seems like the hotel would read these reviews and stop doing that. It is difficult to sleep when you are being eaten alive.
Very well located, very friendly and helpful staff. I liked the decoration and the small terrace.
I don’t know
Well located, central to all major attractions. Room was clean and the bed a nice thin blanket - proper for 28C outside! (But there were warmer covers in the closet, if needed). AC was quiet and worked great. Breakfast was fantastic - good selection and good service.
No shampoo/conditioner in the shower.
Everything was wonderful though we arrived during the intense the heat wave...lol! We have been visiting Venice for over 40 years...definitely a favourite of ours! We plan to return in a couple of years and will definitely stay at your hotel...we were very pleased with the wonderful folks who always greeted us with a welcoming smile and the breakfast was delicious! Thank you for the lovely experience!
Excellent location in the heart of Venice. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning in the room was the best we experienced during our entire trip in Europe. We were there during a heatwave and the mini-split in the room worked great. The hotel staff was amazingly helpful and arranged a water taxi for us on our day of departure. Would 100% stay here again.
The location was in close proximity to lots of shops and restaurants. Easily walkable to anywhere in Venice. The staff were all so kind and helpful!!
I don’t have any bad things to say about the property!
Location is good. Not so far from from any destinations. Room is clean. Bath it's in normal size. Cleaned on time every day.
Mosquitos made my night time terrible. They should not left windows during clean up. Breakfast not so great. Coffee is yaks. Looks like made from concentrate. WiFi was not working well in our room on 3dr floor., but working good on ground level.
Great position, staff and room.
Nothing negative to report.
The location was very convenient, as you are close to the center. The breakfast was also good and delicious. The rooms were clean and comfy, the Wi-Fi was also excellent and the overall stay was very pleasant.
The only thing that was not so ok were the thin walls, which allowed you to hear your neighbors (in particular, one that spoke very loud and made loud noises around midnight, but had the Do not Disturb the day before...). I know this is not the hotel's fault, as they even had a sign for this matter, but, maybe in the future they could upgrade the rooms about this issue.
Hotel Al Piave is a quaint hotel in an unbeatable location between Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge. It’s hard to find a hotel that comfortably accommodates a family of 4 in Venice so their family room is a good option.
The room is smaller than we expected and the shower is tiny. There’s no lift so be prepared to carry your luggage up and downstairs. You need to commit to one of two breakfast sittings which reduces flexibility and often items weren’t replenished for the second sitting. The bathroom sink tap was broken for the duration of our 4 night stay and after being told a plumber was coming to fix it we never heard anything further and it remained broken when we left.
Hotel locations is central . Close to the airport and all aminities.breakfast was good . Staff was friendly and helpful x and
Good, nice, cosy small hotel in the middle of the city. Staff was extremely friendly. The room we stayed in was not modern but it was clean and atmosphere was nice. Brakefast was good.
Staff was very nice and ready to help with anything. Breakfast was gluten free and plenty options. Room was clean but needs and updating. We had a nice roof terrace. Value for money very good, location is very good. Recommend!
Rooms are a little bit outdated
Location. Kind staff. Nice room and bathroom. Breakfast basic but ok for short stay.
Room at ground floor but double door and winddows.
