Pensione Accademia - Villa Maravege

This hotel is gorgeous and right in the heart of Venice. The grand canal is a 2-minute walk away and San Marco is a ~15-minute walk, plus the water bus station is right there as well. The staff was also incredibly friendly. Grazie!

I loved the garden, it was very unexpected, and very peaceful hotel for a busy city, the location was great, it wasn't around too many touristic area so it was a nice. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The breakfast was ok, it wasn't the best quality products, i was expecting the food to be better. The eggs i felt it wasn't the taste of real eggs, the orange juice wasn't fresh from the day, but from a bottle

We loved the wait staff and the room attendant. And the grounds were so lovely and unexpected in Venice. We have a lovely room with views of the canal! Also excellent location, quiet but easy to get to the sites.

No lift. 45 stairs to our room with considerable luggage. People with mobility problems would find this hotel difficult to navigate.

Location is central in Venice. clean place, amazing breakfast, and very gentle staff. The room was functional and nice. The building is historical and perfect for a short stay in Venice. I recommend it to others.

You can hear noise coming from the other rooms or corridors of the buildings. Some mornings, there was noise coming from the boat of the nearby canal, because the windows are not acoustically isolated very well. The bed mattress was a bit rigid, and the pillow was very thin.

Location was wonderful, 5 minute walk to vaporetto and a nice area to explore, away from the crowded St. Mark’s square. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices.

Our room was small, 135 sq feet, challenging for two adults with two large suitcases. Price of over $300 a night was pricey for us but I’m sure that’s due to it being Venice.

Everything about this hotel is impressive and high quality. The customer service is very helpful and professional. The rooms are spotless, beautifully decorated in an authentic style, and our triple room was spacious and comfortable. The view on the canal was absolutely gorgeous.

Wonderful art and architecture. Great building. Very nice location away from the tourist mobs. The staff were kind and attentive. Breakfast was great. We really loved our stay and would happily stay here again!

Hotel has beautiful garden and grounds. Very pleasant place for breakfast in the warmer months. Great overall location. Very charming with a great deal of old world charm.

A few staff were a bit brusque and our junior suite on the ground floor was a bitdisappointing.

We had a room looking at the canal, at 7:30-8:30 canal was noisy with boats delivering supplies to the hotels. Also there was wedding Saturday night at the venue across the canal, band was nice until 8 pm but then DJ playing until after midnight with thumping music, the staff of course can’t control the noise, but not too happy when your trying to sleep to get up for an early flight the next morning. Otherwise the Pensione was very nice.

Beautiful building in a great location! Was in a small twin room with a beautiful view overlooking the courtyard and canal. Very clean. Helpful staff. Included breakfast was nice. Was offered luggage storage, but didn't end up needing it. Great experience.

I loved my stay at this delightful hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, explaining where we should go to explore and helping us get a water taxi to the airport. The location was perfect and made it very easy to wander Venice. I would absolutely recommend this lovely hotel when you come to Venice!

The hotel is just off the grand canal in Accademia. Not as busy as the San which we appreciated. The room we had was beautiful and looked out on the back gardens. There are gardens in front and back as well as an area to dine outside. The staff was lovely and the breakfast every morning was excellent. Will definitely book this hotel again in the future.

Great stay, everyone was so helpful! View was awesome and room was very comfortable!
