    Pros +

    • The breakfast spread was phenomenal. Also, the staff are very attentive and there if you need them.
    • I loved the quaintnes of the old building... Very Venetian.. Very convenient to take the tram into Venice and back.. The staff was very courteous and kind... Highly recommend this Residence.
    • Everything was excellent for the most part. It is conveniently located near several places to eat as well as a grocery store. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was kind and facilitating.

    Cons -

    • I didn't like the shared bathroom but it really wasn't a problem for me but it was for my sister... The bathroom was very clean and it has a washing machine if needed
    • We arrived late at night, at 12.30, and informed the staff, we couldn’t get to the room, we had to spent the night in the corridor. Luckily, there was a couch in the living room… So beware
    • The TV is the room had power but never had a signal, even after trying multiple Inputs. The fridge barely had a chill and from the dust on the condenser it looked like it was about to die. It was a Self Check-In, so staff was unavailable to help that day. So I paid for included things that never worked. Also, on the day of Check-out they advertise an 8am opening of their office to conduct paperwork and payment. I confirmed directly to them via email and received a response confirming they would be there at 8am and arrange for an airport shuttle at that time as well. I waited until 810am and contacted them saying a group of people were waiting to check out. I received a response saying they were on the way. They arrived 825am. Seems they forgot they had people checking out or they overslept. Now given my rush to make my flight, they still charged me full price for the shuttle even though they made me late almost 30 minutes. There seems to be some sort of disorganization in staff.

The room was cozy and clean and I enjoyed the balcony. The attached bathroom was very nice.

Great AC. clean showers. Near food and a grocery store

Location was quite far from train station.

The host, Nadim, was super helpful when I had questions about the area and transportation. Very accommodating and quick to respond. The property is located in a great neighborhood in Mestre. We felt safe.

Excellent value tor money. Elegant rooms with a new renovation. Staff were very responsive and also helpful in securing an airport shuttle service.

A sour smell in the hallway

Loved the vintage aesthetic, beautiful decor of carnival masks and paintings, everything was clean and tidied. The lounge room was adorable, probably my favourite part! With a balcony and nice view, very comfortable too, even offered free coffee, tea and biscuits! Basically felt like living in a palace.

Kind of scary at night, dark and mysterious and lights flicker. Both us and the room next door heard the doorbell ring at midnight and child-like laughter from the hallway... Either an undisciplined child or a ghost ?? Shared bathroom can feel uncomfortable, but staff clean regularly!

Very nice location close to Venice, and a good choice if you want to visit the center without staying in a hotel that will overcharge you. The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean, but keep in mind that it is an old building and you can tell. The common area for breakfast is a nice touch. Overall it was a good stay.

Love it! The self check in worked great for us! The theme of the room we stayed in and the place as a whole is lovely. Very comfy bed, hot shower, air-conditioning and complimentary coffee. The owners allowed us to use the parking even after the check out time. I felt safe and definitely would stay again there.

The fridge in our room didn't work that night.

Everything was excellent❤️ Ushould take a walk 10 min to reach bus stop but it was okay for us. Caffe, tabacchi shop and loundry was near. Interior is in vintage style and that was awsome. Also there coffee machine and some cookies in the living room. Staff is very kind and helpful. If we ever come to venice again , we would come here✨??

Wifi but it was also okay for us

A very cosy and spacious room, and the staff were lovely too (they even sent us a message warning us about the strikes and possible problems with the transport)

The place was easy to access, the staff very friendly and the hotel itself was very cozy.

It’s in a quite area, close to the tram station that goes directly to Venice.

    9MadeleinePosted on: 8-30-2024

Great room, good air con, reasonably quiet spot. We found it easy enough to get across to Venice island from the accom (maybe a 10 minute walk and then a half hour tram ride?) A bit on the expensive side for what it was and location - but Venice is just like that in general!

    8SandorPosted on: 7-28-2024

Very quite location. 5-10 minutes walk to train which goes to Venezia vessel station. Very good caffeterias are close to the accommodation to have a special italian breakfast. Wifi was ready. Nice and clean bathroom.

Aircondition and kettle were not working together. Electrical wire has not been kept. Elec trical board has been found at reception to switch back the electricity.

Very cute room with Venetian style furniture. Complimentary coffee/tea/cookies. Land lord was super friendly and always helpful, really nice and gave great tips! Everything we needed was taken care of immediately. Room was clean, beds are comfortable. Bathroom was private and ok big. We also had a little balcony and there is a safe in the room.

Cleanliness in the bathroom could be a bit more accurate - hair in the shower. Not many but noticeable with a close look.

Very beautiful decor, perfectly clean, they clean your room every day, there is a perfect cafe outside for breakfast and the train #1 that gets you to Venice in 20min is a less than 10min walk from there. If we come back to Venice we will definitely stay here again.

The only thing is the first night I couldn’t sleep very well because the walls are quite thin and the neighbours were pretty loud and the opening, closing and locking of the doors was very loud. The other night I slept perfectly.

We liked everything about the apartment as it had all the basic facilities and free coffee and cookies in the kitchen for guests. You can hear the voice from the other rooms clearly as the rooms were not sound proof and little congested due to less space. The interiors were purely in Venician style.

It is little far from the City center however, there were bus connections that take you to the Venice Meste.
