Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Barrie

Clean and comfortable room.

Hot tub was filled with cement. Pool bottom looked dirty, and Fan in pool room making an awful noise.

What I liked: It was quiet, fixtures in newer shape, great free coffee/tea bar and breakfast.

I did not like that the inside of the bathroom door that was only half painted. Two tone, lol. And both keys lost their coding overnight and had to be rewritten.

Room was newish with a good shower, but poorly finished. Some outlets didnt work. There were weird holes in the door for keycard tapping.

The price was much too high.

The staff were very friendly

The first room had a malfunctioning door that kept opening by itself. The second room had a heater that we couldn't control (was cold all night).

It was clean and the staff was friendly.

There was a person who was allowed to use the Hotel's washroom that wasnt wearing a mask. I realise that some people can be agressive but the staff should have confronted him about it.

The hotel is super clean. , easy access to food area , packed breakfast due to covid

Friendly staff easy check in, good location clean with good breakfast assortment. Also enjoyed pool and whirlpool. Overall good experience.

Staff unfamiliar with area for restaurants close by.

Location was great and pool was warm. Hotel was clean, one of the staff was extremely nice the other was just average. Housekeeping was gracious and kind!

Front desk could be a little more kind when checking in but the lady on the evening shift was very nice!

Decent pool. Gym has 2 tread mills, cross trainer and free weights. Breakfast is also decent for a hotel!

Great breakfast. Clean room. Great value.
