La Gentilhommière

The owners (administrator) are awesome persons, always serving with a nice smile. We were the first "boricuas" staying with them (scrapping in the office map).

The hotel is modern with a lot of details inside (coffee machine, microwave and chocolate!) the room and outside the room (bbq, chair, table, lights, etc)

Nothing to dislike, we were very happy and will try to go again in the future

Hotel is very close the ferry which was our prime goal. Room was adequate, but did not have A/C. It was a warm humid night so would have used A/C. Nice view of the Seaway.

Just lack of A/C...and it sure was expensive for basic room, no breakfast.

Cleanness

Light breakfast was available for a reasonable price and it exceeded our expectations. A large selection of board games and toys. Very pretty site.

Didn’t realize the highway was near, high above the bay. However we didn’t hear it.

Nice interesting location with a river bordering the property and a large boulder seawall that could be explored and the hotel is very close to ferry. Room was comfortable and clean.

No complaints

We had an amazing stay at the Gentilhomière. The upper apartment was absolutely stunning and felt incredibly comfortable and relaxing. We have rarely stayed in such a nice place. The welcoming of the managers was also on the next level !! double that with a very good breakfast served in the room. Absolutely recommended.

The place is beautifully situated near the creek with a view of St Laurent River.it was well maintained by the owners and does offer freshly made food..

My daughter and i stayed here while road tripping in Quebec. This is a lovely, peaceful place right on the water. The owners thought of every detail for our comfort. We ordered a homemade breakfast that was brought right to our door. A homemade pizza was also made to order. The whole experience was amazing. We would definitely stay there again.

Our family loved every thing about our stay. Super friendly owners squeaky clean rooms and lovely decorations. View and atmosphere is phenomenal.

Beautiful place. Hosts are lovely. Family owned business with many nice touches. We only stayed for one night, but it would have been nice to stay longer to enjoy their bbq facilities.

So much to say, location itself is perfect! Surrounded by the sounds of the rapids and the beautiful view of the water. Greeted by the incredible and warm owners upon your arrival, attentive to your every need. The rooms are great and quite large. As well the beds are comfortable and everything is so incredibly clean.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were fantastic, with great outdoor space for us to use. Breakfast was delicious with exceptional pastries at a reasonable price. I don't know where they get their pastries but they seem freshly made and the cinnamon bun was the best I've ever had. The room itself was very clean, comfortable, and well furnished.

The hot water can be a bit limited if you have multiple people showering in a row. Saint Simeon itself is not the most exciting location to stay in.

Very cozy, clean and well-organized room. Very quiet, we didn’t hear other people at all although it looked like most rooms were occupied. Each room has access to the riverfront. Excellent breakfast! We will be back for sure :)

Everything - the setting, the facilities, the rooms, the bbq area, the seats outside, the rugs…..everything had been thought of.

The toilet roll - needs to be thicker!

All is amazing! Very nice owners ,very clean and many facilities in outside kitchen.The view of Sir Laurent river is amazing! I highly recommend this motel.We will be back for sure.

This place is really exceptional!!! It feels like the owner treats the guests like family members ☺️ Rooms are so cozy, clean and comfortable! Wonderful location right on the bank of a small river! Everything for the guests to enjoy and relax: gazebo with swings, muskoka chairs and hammocks, playground and volleyball net, bbq and more! Didn’t want to leave and want to come back!

We loved the barbecue facilities, the room and the hospitality.

Nothing, except the low temperatures and the bad weather when we went.

The team is amazing, very friendly and feeling welcomed. A nice kitchen for the guest with barbecue etc.

The road/bridge but nothing they can do with this

Very friendly owners, great location! We used the outdoor kitchen, which was great. They serve the best breakfast and if you are lucky you can spot a whale from the terrace!
