Pros +
- Our stay was completely unplanned—we booked the room last minute—but it turned out to be such a cozy and lovely experience. The place itself had a warm and welcoming vibe, making it perfect for some quality time with my bestie. One thing that surprised me was how good the little details were! I actually loved the shampoo and conditioner they provided (rare for hotels ?), and the hair dryer was shockingly great—it actually worked and did its job properly, unlike so many other places I’ve stayed.I love exploring different hotels and sharing my experiences for people who haven’t tried them yet, and honestly, this one really stood out. I would definitely come back here again ❤️
- was charged for breakfast but was really good and has a few choices(was not aware it was not included into the hotel price), bathroom tiles, faucet and bathtub needs replacement, bad condition for a hotel with this class category, dirty windows
- Not good
Cons -
- The pool was closed and they didn't say so on their website.
- Our stay was really cozy and enjoyable, but I did feel the price was a little on the higher side for my budget. It would be wonderful if the hotel offered something like a membership card, loyalty program, or a small discount for returning guests. That way, it would make coming back even easier.?
- noise of the reno for the swimming pool

Not good
Hair dryer wasn’t working Bath and toilet were old
I didn’t go for breakfast
Washroom doesn’t have vent and there is no microwave in the room and phone in the room wasn’t working.
Parking is easy and not traffic
Nothing close to the hotel after 5 pm every think is closed ; I asked for none smoking room and I get room socked with cigarettes smells: the did not change it because they were booked; they normally don’t response to the call ; some times the number is listed wrong and most of the time they pick the phone after minimum 40 -60 rings; you also need to call twice to get your order; they did not make up the room ; and finally the air conditioning was not working properly the temperature never goes below 22 c
Terrible Music on for both nights , couldn’t sleep
Really bad customer service . I booked two rooms for two nights but the experience was worst . There was a late night party going on in hotel on ground floor and it was creating a lot of disturbance on 2nd floor rooms . I called front desk and they said they can’t do anything as it’s a wedding . Loud Music i”was still on after midnight . None of us from our group was able to sleep at night . They need a sound proof auditorium.
The room was very nice
Pool area unkept, water was not clear, restaurant was not so great but employees were all very nice
Room were clean and comfortable
No fan in bathrooms, some noise from steps from upper floor (bearable) - could not connect to Netflix on TV (seemed to require system admin to fix) - no shower facility and changing room at swimming pool - access to gym had stairs which were not too solid
pool wasnt open had to force them to open way too pricey considering the hotel is in ruins
everything
The room was modern and clean. The staff was helpful. I did not try the restaurant, the bar or the other facilities.
Wifi absolutely the worst. Connection just drops after about 30 minutes, is gone for 15 minutes and then comes back again for 30 minutes. Tested this with multiple different devices. The location is very inconvenient to get to despite being so close to the airport. No shuttle service. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations which are obviously necessary because in several places it's falling apart and you can see makeshift fixes, for example the grill in the elevator ceiling. Asked at the restaurant whether I can borrow a fork or a spoon and was told I need to buy a single use plastic fork for .5 CAD because that's company policy.
Last minute booking due to the air strike. The room was comfortable even if the hotel is under renovation. Dinner at the restaurant was good.
Some services were missing (laundry, vending machine working only with coins)
The room was clean and larger than the pictures shown. The staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend staying here.
Rooms are spacious
Renovations noise
The pool was nice and the staff at the pool and front desk were very helpful
Pool
I’ve never left a negative review before, but unfortunately, this time I have to.The hotel is extremely old and run-down. In our case, the situation was made even worse by a wedding taking place at the hotel. Drunken guests were wandering through the lobby, speaking loudly. We were placed on the second floor, right next to the staircase where a piano stood. Some of the wedding guests were playing it—poorly and loudly—until midnight. But the biggest disappointment was the complete lack of response from the front desk. I tried calling multiple times—both from the room and my cell phone—and no one answered. I also sent an email and a text message, but no one ever replied. We were traveling with two children who couldn’t sleep and kept waking up throughout the night because of the noise.
Easy check in, and the pool slide was a hit with the kids
Old and outdated. Things were not very clean, paint peeling, chrome rusting.
We had to cut our stay short at Armon Plaza (July 4–6, 2025) due to a major incident—our car was stolen in Montreal with all our belongings inside. We checked in late on the 4th and checked out by noon on the 5th. While the front desk staff was kind and lent us a phone charger, management refused to adjust our checkout date in the system, which we needed in order to request a refund through Booking.com. They kept deflecting responsibility, saying we had to deal with Booking.com directly. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience during an already stressful time.
was disappointed with my stay at the hotel and would not recommend the property based on my experience. From the moment I checked in, things felt disorganized and below expectations. It felt like the property was not well-managed, and my stay was far from relaxing or enjoyable
I booked a room with two beds but was given a queen-sized bed instead. When I arrived to check in, I was told the hotel was overbooked and they didn’t have the room I reserved. That was frustrating enough, but things only got worse from there. The next day, I received a text thanking me for my stay and asking when I would be checking out, even though my reservation clearly extended through the following day. I called the front desk to clarify, and they claimed it was a misunderstanding due to a message error. However, I was then told I’d need to move to a new room because of planned construction, even though I had less than 24 hours left in my stay. I declined, given how short the time remaining was.Despite being told I could remain in the room, I was repeatedly disturbed the next morning by workers banging on my door five separate times even after I clearly responded each time that the room was occupied. It was intrusive and made for a very uncomfortable experience. Honestly, we should’ve known something was off when we realized we were the only guests on that entire floor.I spoke with the front desk to report the multiple issues. The staff member mentioned it could’ve been a last-minute decision to do construction, but I noticed a sign near the front desk warning guests of ongoing construction. Whether that sign had just been put up or was there when I booked, I don’t know. What I do know is that the hotel was actively working on every single room on our floor. After reading other reviews, I now realize that construction noise and disruption seem to be a recurring problem at this hotel. I had hoped those complaints were outdated, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. This stay was far from relaxing or enjoyable, and I would not return or recommend this property to others
Very clean. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful. Pool with slide was great.
A little tricky to get to.
