The hotel is well located in downtown Charlottetown and is an easy walking distance to the theatre, shopping facilities and general features around the downtown. Lots of restaurants for breakfast and dinner in the near location. Waterfront close by.

The room we were given was very dirty and we got a refund. It was one of those rooms you know as soon as you step in that if you do stay, it will not be pleasant. There were stains all over the duvets, sheets, blinds, carpet. Hairs in the bathroom. One small window so it’s very dark and dingy feeling. When you book, be aware that you may be staying in the annex and not the main inn. Fortunately the hotel was agreeable to refunding us and we did not need to stay there.

Cleanliness

We stayed in the original mansion turned hotel. It is beautifully preserved and decorated with Victorian furniture. Our room had a sitting room, bedroom and full bath. There is an addition to the mansion built in the 1960s and I was told by the hostess, it is decorated in a more modern style. Very centrally located near to the restaurant’s and shops. We liked the free parking in the hotel lot.

I prefer a stand up shower, rather than the tub and hand held shower wand. But that’s a miner inconvenience when compared to the rest of the suite.

Our room was in the Annex and was lovely. A suite with a living room area, which we weren't expecting. The location was convenient to Charlottetown, an easy walk to the restaurants and shopping area. Nice coffee in the morning on the deck enjoying the sunshine!

No elevators and therefore no trollies to transport luggage from parking lot to rooms

They provided complimentary tea and coffee every morning which was nice but a continental breakfast would have been appreciated.

It is a beautiful place,the staff were very helpful. The location was excellent for what we were doing.

Just be aware there are no elevators, of course because of the old building.

Room 33 was not wheelchair accessible for the bathroom. The hallway and door frame were too narrow for the small wheelchair to turn . The hotel was no longer serving breakfast . It was not value for money .

AC unit in room was very loud. Cut in and out all night.

Location was perfect. Free parking. Room was clean with good amenities.

No breakfast. Checkout (10am) was early for leisure travel. No safety/ bolt lock on room door.

Our room was nice but it was located on the third floor with a difficult to navigate staircase. Also, the coffee was good but there were no food options available all day.

Location and cleanliness

The only comment I had was with the temperature of the shower water. The temperature was set extremely high, and if you were to turn it off in the wrong direction, you would be scolded.

Location, services, amenities, super professional and friendly staff, excellent coffee that can be enjoyed on the lovely patio.

Location was good for walking and was quiet. The rooms were very comfortable.

No elevator made it difficult for us (2 senior women), although the staff helped us immediately.
