They know what travellers need, a simple free coffe in a kettle heater is really thoughtful, we need comfort , not luxury, and its all here.. its also afordable. We appreciate that.

It¿s quirky and just the right price .The breakfast, which was reasonably priced was delicious (with home-made bread). The staff was very nice and left us a message with our room number due to later check-in (9pm).

Room in VERY poor condition, whole facility very run down. no AC, holes in the wall, plaster coming off stains on bedspread, overpriced for low-quality. Extremely slow or no functioning Wi-Fi and no maid service

Room was extremely dirty, sand in the sheets of the bed, mini fridge not working, smelled musty, furniture had dust.

toilet paper was premium, and room was clean. free breakfast was good, and waitress was lovely.

advertised that there was wifi in all areas - only place to access it was in the dining hall. advertised that there was laundry facilities, but was only free in the evenings, and was told there was a laundromat in adjoining town. tv was small and old.

Location is great. New owners are very nice and upgrading the facilities. On site restaurant has very good food.

They are still upgrading the facilities and some is not finished. Not a big issue.

The bed was comfortable and the location was great.

The shower wasn't cleaned properly and I expected there to be more of a view of the river.

This property is not a resort. I paid almost 162$ for a motel. It was not value for money. They should change their name from resort to motel. I

The chalets were both very clean and the cost reasonable. The 2 bedroom chalet was in perfect proximity to the playground which was so convenient for our little ones. The pool was great and we were fortunate to have it all to ourselves when we went for a swim. The 2 bedroom chalet is where we spent most of our time except when we were sleeping and it met our needs here nicely. The BBQ was perfect for having an economical supper for our group.

The issue we had with booking where we were advised less than 24 hours before arrival that they just received our booking and the second 2 bedroom chalet we had booked was not available, but they could offer us a motel room with 2 beds instead. Communication from the property through Booking.com was a bit rude and they did not apologize. The owner did apologize when we checked-in however. Due to the time constraints, we opted to take the motel room in lieu of the chalet. The room had an overwhelming musty smell. We were going to ask if there was another room available, but it appeared the other motel rooms also smelled poorly. The WiFi was very poor. It constantly dropped or was not available at times. The mattresses in the chalets were very hard. There was a sign at the front of the property that said they were under new management so that could be why there are a few kinks to work out. Their website also mentioned that there was mini golf and access to a private beach which were both selling features. They may want to update this as the mini golf is destroyed (see photo) and the access to the private beach is not from the property itself, but up the road and not easily accessible.

It had a very nice view from the cottages, was very quiet as well

Beds were not the most comfortable, not expecting anything extravagant but it was pretty hard. They did not provide hand soap in the bathroom which I thought was a little odd

We really liked the rustic charm, and the beds were comfy. It's quiet. Nice view of the water. The food in the motel restaurant was incredible. It's a seven-minute drive to Hooewell Rocks, and very close to Moncton.

We had one of the cabins and it could have used some updating. But I know it's under new management and the cabin beside us looked like it was under renovation. All in good time, I'm sure

Our room was clean, fresh, and comfortable with fresh cut white Lillie's.The family was very nice. Quiet at night. Beautiful view of the Chocolate River. Fantastic location to Hopewell Rocks. We would stay again.

Ignore the old reviews - it is now run by the sweetest family who are working to update the place. Definitely try the restaurant- most beautiful food presentation and home-cooked taste.

They are in process of updating and some finishes still dated. But great value overall

The area is very quiet, which allowed me to sleep soundly and made the stay relaxing.

I booked this non-refundable room two months before my stay. However, when I arrived, I was told there was no room available for me. The receptionist claimed she had only received my reservation from Booking.com that same morning. Unfortunately for her, I had already received a confirmation message from the hotel two months ago, which clearly shows they were aware of my booking well in advance.

The staff at Fundy Rocks are great they were very nice and generally happy room was clean water was hot bed was comfortable everything we needed for our stay over night
