Atlantic Host Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Two unauthorized charges within a month after checkout, both dismissed as a “mistake.” Once is a mistake; twice is theft. Makes you wonder if they’re counting on customers not noticing. Check your card statements.

Location and restaurant.

Hot tub out of service, sauna would not heat up, pool VER cold, no fan in bathroom.

Everything you would expect from a seaside inn and more. Room was very well appointed. The staff were excellent. Our meal at the restaurant was perfect. And WHAT a view. Pool and hot tub was appreciated after a long days drive.

The pool, sauna, and hot tub were great. The restaurant staff were really friendly.

The hotel advertised laundry availability but it was a laundry service where you could send your clothes out to have them done. We were counting on a guest laundry in the hotel. This should be clarified in their ads.

Convenient location; bathroom was really clean.

No easily accessible outlets for charging.

The beds were comfy.

First of all the rooms are outdated, theres caroet in the room, the wallpaper is pealing, and old toilet seat all chipped, dirty ice bucket, etc. And the pool is freezing cold, and the hot tub didnt work and it wasnt even hot? its not worth 180$ a night. They had a large group of atv they opened all of their doors and was partying in the hall way most of the evening and we called to ask to at least go in their rooms if they want to party and make a bunch of noise we have a 7 month old baby… and they never stopped. It was the worse stay at an hotel, it wasnt enjoyable at all.

Door between bedroom and sitting area had no curtain so no privacy, and it did not block light. Sitting area air conditioner did not work. Kitchen was very sparcely stocked for pots and pans and cooking.

Not happy with the lack...

The pool wasn t heated, the hottub was broken and in the weight room some of the exercise equipment was broken and couldn't be used. Poor maintenance

The location located right off the highway and by a Tim’s and a 24 hour gas station. The rooms were affordable and beds are super comfortable

Only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom it just looked old the towels also had tiny yellow stains also the AC made loud noises seemingly randomly throughout the night if your a light sleeper it will wake you

I had to pay for dry fish battered with sawdust that tasted so bad that I couldn't even eat it drowned in tartar sauce and there was no body wash in my shower so just a rince

the pavement to walk to the first entrance i fell on my knees , my glasses flew off my face and broke and i cut my forehead because of a hole in the pavement the staff was very kind

Pleasant

The room was very nice and pretty much clean, except when we walked in there was a toothpick on the floor in front of the nightstand, and there was a toenail clipping on the floor along with a few other specs of dirt. It was obvious the room was not vacuumed.

All In all it was quite and comfortable. We have stayed here atleast 4 times now.

The bottom sheet on one of the beds was very worn. It had worn balls all over it. It would be nice to have sheets that were comfortable and that weren't uncomfortable to sleep one.

Staff was very helpful and courteous.Easy to find location; right off the highway.Very clean. Gym was good.Great shower.
