Best continental breakfast we had

the carpet in our room #116 was soaking wet, the tile floor was extremely slippery, we requested a cot when we reserved online, did not recieve a cot, requested main floor room online, receptionist changed our room to main floor thankfully. Bath tub was rusty and run down looking.

Rooms organized and location.

I like everything, may be a little bit of cleaning on the bathroom and sink.

It was close to the center of town near restaurants. Breakfast was included

I was stuck on the bottom floor with bright lights in the back parking but curtains meant for darkening the room not working. So couldn’t block out the light. I also heard the local motorcycle group gunning their bikes at 1 am and then again at 3 am. The rest of the time was listening to someone moaning and yelling outside? Inside ? Not sure because the walls were paper thin. Also, of course had to hear the classic couple having sex in some other room.

Dirty sheets!i forgot my Philips sonicare dental power flosser and called the Hotel.i'm sure i left it in the roomthe answer was nothing was found!!!!!!!

Excellent staff members, they are eager to help and set things right.Breakfast is very good.Prime location in the city and everything is 5-10 mins from this place.I stayed with my family and it is a pleasant experience.

The room had a faulty door and a loose switch. I reported this to the Reception and they promptly moved us to a different room. A bit more attention needed with cleaning in general, to make this place as on of the best choice in Val-d'Or.

Reception was excellent, breakfast was very good. Loved the renovated room, great layout. Really appreciated the coffee maker, micowave and the refrigerator. Location was great. Loved free parking. Reception was very friendly and helpful!

There was nothing that we did not like.

Maybe the free breakfast …maybe as there weren’t very many options. The waitress and the front desk staff were lovely people!

Construction was right by the hotel. Poor parking. Curtains wouldn’t stay closed so we had to tape them shut and the light stayed on outside so it still came through. The bed was horrible and felt like one of the section of coils was popping up by my legs . The bathtub was super slippery when I got in to take a shower. I don’t think it was cleaned because there was like conditioner on the bottom of the tub and then when I decided to take a bath so I didn’t fall…I had to wash the ring out of the tub. Could hear everyone above us and beside us

Poor service. Room had no ironing board and when I asked for one, I was told I had to wait until the next day. Tv remote had no batteries.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was included and very nice. Plenty of parking despite the roadworks impinging on the parking lot.

Not sure about location as simply a one night stopover, but seemed to be fairly central although not much around and limited places to eat - hotel restaurant not open. Bar not very attractive - dark and full of gaming machines. Major roadworks right outside causing disruption did not help general ambience and town itself not exactly appealing.

Bad

Made a reservation with credit card and wanted to pay cash but to my surprise no. Cannot pay cash.For room, was -20 0utside, got around 22 o'clock in my room that was like a freezer. Heating was down. Took 2to 3 hours to get warm and comfy.

Restaurant for breakfast was closed, received a paper bag with hard-boiled egg and crossaint. 1 of the 2 beds was terrible, all you could feel were bed springs. Sink in bathroom was clogged and wouldn't drain.

The room looked and was clean. It was easy access into town

There was no heat in the room 201. The staff had gone away, when I arrived from the site at 1 am in the morning. I tried to start the baseboard, it did not work. The shower was dripping and there was no hot water at the sink to wash hands or shave. In fact there was no mirror in the room, so I could not see my face when I shaved. May be beacause of the renovations' there were problems with the facility. When I got the room at 4 PM in the after noon, the electronic room key was not available.. I had to come back to get my room key at 6 PM and then I left go to site at 8 PM.. when I got back late at night, I found out there was no heat in the room. When I complained they showed me there was a heating unit in the room with a picture, but I did not see it in the room when I was there... too bad... the price of the hotel was good, it looked good, but then the basics were missing. Better luck next time!!

We didn’t stay.

We didn’t even stay there , the room stunk and there was hair in the bed. We still haven’t received our refund.

Convenient location with free parking. Room wascomfortable and clean. Staff were friendly.

Parking in the lot was difficult due to a large passenger bus. Also, I couldn't use the rear door to the parking lot due to a overnight fire. Half the lot was cordoned off by police.
