Travelodge by Wyndham Saint-Liboire

Location.

There is a note in the bathrooms, that the water is drawn from a well and that source is full of sulphur (rotten eggs). When you open the faucet, the whole room smells like rotten eggs. The carpets, walls, beds, furniture need a total refresh.

Leaving

Flies in room,bed was terrible, room felt dirty, water stunk, screen door broken, coffee maker dirty, tv didn't work.

Localisation facile d'accès. Bonne insonorisation des murs. Un bon rapport qualité/prix. Petit déjeuné simple mais très bon! Les propriétaires sont très accueillant!:)

L'eau avait une odeur mais on était avertit et il donnait de l'eau en bouteille.

Great location right off the highway. If you just want somewhere to crash for the night, worth it.

Not much around it. Smelly and dirty water - even though there was a notice about it. Nobody at reception when I went to check out at 6:45am

The hotel was close to the highway and the room was clean

First the hotel staff took way to long to get me signed in the bathroom was clean but the tub was all stained and all the water smelled so bad we didn't even shower or clean our teeth with it. We had to use our own water to clean our teeth

The staff were friendly.

Continental breakfast was pretty poor. The bed was lumpy and springy. The water smelled because of the well. The rooms were very old and out dated. There were bugs in the room. Judgmental, but it felt like a place where illegal activity takes place.

Included breakfeast was fair for the price and there is enough diversity to choose something different the next mornings if you're staying more than one night. That is not the case at every hotel in that price range.

The cleanliness wasn't perfect, but overall it was okay. The sheets where clean and the public areas looked okay. Again, for a room in that price range... there isn't much you can say.

The staff were very friendly.

This place falls short of the Travelodge brand of motels. The outside appearance looks like place in disrepair. We checked in and checked right out. Did not spend the night. We have been refunded. The black mold on the table lamp shade was unexceptable, we did not stay here.

The location is the best. Just beside the highway.

The water smelled too much fluoride. The hot water came out with the black color at the beginning.

It was clean. The staff was helpful. The bed was comfortable. It had good proximity to the highway. And it wasn’t too expensive.

The restaurant was not open. The canteen did not offer much in the way of something for supper. there was no microwave. There was no other place within view for me to get something to eat. 

It was close to the highway

The room itself was smelly like musty and old cigarette smoke that had tried to be cleaned but wasn’t. The water smelled like rotten eggs, enough so it made my kid barf. The beds were like bricks. Breakfast that was included was a half a muffin, a yogurt and a juice box. Already pre portioned for you. Like give people a whole muffin!

It was in a good location right off the highway and there was a great canteen next door to eat at. The owner was also very nice.

The mattress was as hard as a rock. There was burn holes in my bedspread. There was supposed to be breakfast but there was a trolley tray set up in the hall with a coffee machine, a toaster and two loafs of bread and peanut butter and jam. That’s all.

The location

The building is dirty, outdated and in need of an update. The building smells bad and it is not from the sulphur water. Windows were filthy. 2 small pillows. Used towel left in the bathroom. Paint peeling off the walls. You need an IT degree to use the tv remote. Listing says there is a pool. There is an empty one on the grounds. Obviously unmaintained.

Terrifying. I thought I was going to be murdered.

The pictures of the property made it look so comforting and welcoming. When I got there I thought I was at the wrong place but I wasn’t. The lights were off in the lobby so it was pitch black. No one was around and I thought I walked into a murder movie. Eventually someone came and gave me my room key. Once I got to my room I thought I was set up for murder. It was so sketchy and not at all like the pictures and reaked of cigarettes. I had to check every corner and drawer even under the bed to make sure no one was hiding in there. I made sure I got out first thing in the morning. To sum it up it’s more of a motel off of the highway where truck drivers stop to do some sketchy illegal things. I might watch too many murder documentaries but that’s exactly how I felt the whole time I was there.
