Pros +
- the farm and the employees!
- The fjord view was magic!
- This was our first time this far into Quebec and the Location was awesome -so much to see and do here. The staff are so friendly and accommodating! The apartment was cozy and very clean. I asked them if they could decorate for my husband’s birthday and they went above and beyond for that! Looking forward to coming back again! Didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast but will be trying it next time :)
Cons -
- Spa tub in spa wasn't included
- I wish that all sliding doors had screens and that there were a couple of fans for better airflow.
- Perhaps due to our lack of French and their lack of English language, communication was difficult. We struggled with our dinner choices, as again the menu was only in French, and the translation app didn’t perhaps translate everything accurately. However, our dinner was good and tasty. The two young men working the kitchen/dining room, were very friendly and trying to be as helpful as possible. The dining room was not very clean, the chairs and benches were very stained.

This is a large family resort, which seems to be better suited for a family vacation, not just a one night stay. Our room was a very large, two bedroom suite, with a mini kitchen, including dishes, microwave and a toaster oven. You are on a “farm”, with animal pen’s surrounding some of the building. There were also a few exotic animals on view, not just farm animals. Our specific room was right next to a large deer pen. We were woken up with the roosters. And as with any farm, you have the “aroma” of the animals. I’m sure families with children would like to stay here.

The view from the chalet Anse 7 was really nice. The chalet is really large. The farm is very nice for the children.
Avoid the "restaurant" of the farm at all costs. The food was bad and not cheap.
Our family loved the resort. We love animals so this was the perfect spot. Our kids really enjoyed seeing all the animals every day. The staff were extremely friendly. Our room was perfect. It’s dog friendly which is a bonus too.
The only thing I would recommend is adding patio furniture to the deck attached to the studio rooms so guests can sit outside.
staff, price and location
Room was quite small for two adults and two teenagers (15 and 16 y.o.). Bathroom needs more hooks.
Beautiful surroundings, cool animals
Lots of upselling and not enough staff, room walls were paper thin and beds were horrible
We had an amazing time on the farm. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left. Special thanks to Vicky who guided our workshops for her amazing personality - we could tell how much she cared about the farm animals! And to Sam for the unforgettable sunset kayak tour! The accomodation was no frills but clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I can't wait to go back!
The living space was great, the kitchen and living area was spacious.
Check in was the worst. I patiently waited for 10 minutes and then lost it as the receptionist continued to take more time to finish the interaction for the couple in front of me, who were buying 2 pies. Check in should be efficient as it is important when the guest has traveled for hours, in our case 4hrs. How can a sale of 2 pies take 10 minutes? In all other 7 accommodations we stayed in Quebec, we had efficient check ins. The cutlery drawer was dirty, the counter top was smashed and in a sad state, the bathroom walls had yellow marks all over it and was not enlightening like a bathroom should be, the bed quilt was a low quality from Walmart or worse and then a cheap accent blanket was added in a fan shape, the decorations looked like someone picked the worst of the lot from a garage sale and had no cohesion or resemblance to a cabin atmosphere. The pool should not have been advertised as an amenity as it was not heated, the railing to lift yourself out was loose , weeds around the cement, and was in total disrepair. I thought there were domestic animals for a child to see, pet or to collect eggs. This was not the case and wild animals like wolves were caged in small pens. There were about 30 deer in a pen about the size of a house. It was so sad to see. As there was a deck it would have been nice to have a chair or a small table to have your coffee in the morning. What a disappointment for the money we paid, $343.00 a night.
Animals on site (feeding, explanations, observing)Big garden Very nice pool Many outdoor activities Parking spot next to the house
Beds not comfortable Small bathroom (clean and nice, but very small)
We stayed in a cottage outside the main facility (10 mins drive). It was cottage number 7. The cottage had stunning view from its windows and it was big, with enough beds for a big family and very clean. The kids enjoyed seeing and petting the animals in the main facility. There is also a small pool and playground that we didn't use.
The cottage had a strong odor of pest control, it smelled like they treated the cottage recently for pests. However, we couldn't open the doors and leave them open because the nets were torn. In addition, it took 2-6 attempts of flushing the toilet to get the toilet clean, even for number 1. The cottage was not equipped well. No paper towels, no oil. Only salt and pepper and toilet paper. We put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and couldn't turn it on because there was no dishwasher detergent provided.
It's a farm with a lot of animals, which our children fed in the morning. You can even go for walk at the area.Furthermore it's close to the wal spots Bergerronnes and Tadoussac.
breakfast was very good--rooms were great, nice parking and acess--staff especially stefanie and alexandria werew super, good spot on the trail
dinner should have more than 1 choice--example, i would have eaten there friday but i don't like duck---also it would be great if they had gas on site--it was a bit of a pain to ride to the coronet for gas
Depressing, grim place.
Awful place, dozens of dogs chained and howling throughout night and day, depressed-looking animals in small enclosures, overweight white wolf pacing up and down the fence, dozens and dozens of deer crammed in a tiny enclosure. The place feels very unsafe at night.
Location very good. Suite is cozy and complete. Accept pets ( which is a differential in the area). Breakfast place is clean and spacious. We choose the place for a stay to explore all the region around with our pet. So it was almost perfect!
A bit disappointing with the fact that breakfast is served up to 9h30 but at 9 many items were already cold, others had a few amount...and no replacement at all. So, if it is a normal procedure, you should let the guests know in advance, specially because we booked for 9AM, so it was not expected that.
Location beautiful. Chalet was homely and clean. Reception staff check in and check out were really lovely and helpful.
Couldn’t get the tv working and felt it was too late in the evening to bother reception
The location and the view
No space around the bed No air conditioning
The farm had a huge area to itself. Good for outdoor activities like hiking, biking etc. The animals were well kept and provided children with a new experience.
The rooms could be made more comfy.
The location is nice. It's 10 mins away from the fjords at the SEPAQ Saguenay park and 20 mins away from Taddoussac. The staff was very friendly
The beds were not great. The kitchen equipment was rather basic. There are a lot of animals in the park. While the deer and the moose had a lot of space, the wolves were confined to small cages :-(. The pool was rather small and didnt seem very clean. Dinner options were very limited (but we didnt eat there in the end).
