Cons -
- Room we had was top of the stairs and sound proofing was limited. We could hear every footstep of people coming upstairs and every door closing.it So quiet we could hear the person snoring in the next room! 14 KMs of dusty gravel road to get there.
- Driving the dirt road in the dark due to a late arrival from whale watching. But better signage would help.
- Almost 20km from the main road, GPS did not work for this property so it was bit of an adventure finding it.Dinners are prepared ahead of time and heated up laterBring your own meal or dine back in civilization

Nice room, quiet location in the summerBreakfast was great

The location is extremely difficult to navigate, it is not well sign posted and it’s a 12km track up a gravel road . The property is very basic with bare bones in the room , however the view is stunning but unfortunately there is no where to go once you arrive .very old school set up with a single tv in a communal area and very limited wifi connection and we struggled to get cell phone reception
Extremely remote and basic, we only saw two people working during our stay , the person who checked us in who also served as bar tender and waiter and one other person who cooked and served the food .The Food was decent but it was a 2 hour min experience to order and eat . Bed was uncomfortable, no tv in room. , no coffee , no air con. Be aware before you book
I liked how secluded it was. Beautiful view on the mountains. The history of this place is rather interesting.
Nothing I didn’t like. I would return.
Maybe this place is ok in the winter time, but in the summer, forget it.
Location looked like it would be close to the national park but you can't access it in practice, so requires a very long drive to get there. Road to the property is in awful shape, unacceptable uncomfortable drive over 10k to the property from 132. All the kitchen had to offer for dinner when we arrived Monday night was microwaved leftovers, with the same planned for Tuesday. Breakfast was overpriced. Wifi did not work in our room.
Chalet was a good size
Chalet need lots of work to reflect the 300$ per night. Wall by the shower is falling appart… nothing at all is furnish… not event shampoo/hand soap
fantastic place in nature, with the possibility to carry out trekking close by for example; super house, a pity we did not organise ourselves better to enjoy the facilities like the fire place.
Great location. Fatbikes for hire at reasonable price.
One female member of staff was pretty miserable, even rude at one point. In compensation, one other was particularly friendly and helpful. Also, there were no tea/coffee making facilities in thd rooms. In view of the isolated location these would be particularly helpful.
Nice comfortable beds, quiet property.
Location ended up not being convenient- gravel roads so bad we had to drive into St Anne Des Monts in order to get to the hikes we wanted to do in Parc Gaspe.
Nicely made cabins in a unique location. The layout was nice and it came with kitchen. That was good. Outside seating was there, and enough firewood.
Kitchen had only 1 knife but it was broken. The bathroom door lock was broken. There was only 1 sofa in living room. Kitchen had a water warmer that was broken as well. The bedroom had a secret door from closet opening under the house, that was not clear to us earlier. It freaked our kids out. Overall good cabin, but after paying a lot of money, I would have liked to get working equipment. And lastly, there is no cell phone signal, I guess that a good thing, but just be aware.
Clean excellent friendly staff.
No Tv. Dirt road was not good travelling on the motorcycle. No coffee or tea supplied.
Food poisoning with the steak at $34.00. I am still sick from it….
Spacious roomsStaff was friendlyGreat view
No mini fridge/coffee/tea in roomThe restaurant is on the expensive sideRemote location, so no options for other food and drink, especially since no mini fridge, and breakfast isn't included in your stay. The bathroom in the room has a sign that indicates non-potable water. I asked for my personal water bottle to be filled in the dining room. It came from the tap. I asked about the potability and was told that it's good water, the same as the rooms. I don't know if there was some language barrier and I misunderstood. But with a non-potable water sign in the room, bottled water should have been provided free of charge.Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable.
Nice chalet
No internet, no mobile network, difficult to get cause bad google map. Quite far from the downtown
Bed was very comfy. Room (king) was spacious. Great views of the mountains from the balcony. Breakfast was not included in the price but was tasty and good value. Reception guy was very friendly.
There was no water in the room or any facility for making tea/coffee. Air con didn't seem to work. It's a bit of a trek down a dusty road to get there, ...but that's part of the adventure.
ComfortClean
The location - a 12+km unpaved road to get to hotel. The gentleman at reception kept silent during check-in, until I refused to sign the paperwork.
Peaceful and very quiet out in wilderness.
Gravel road for which I had a low sports car , road was good , wouldn’t suggest high end sports cars lol
The food and the views were amazing, I wish we could have stayed longer. This is a perfect getaway in full nature to rest and do some reading.
It’s a bit far into the woods but this is perfect if you want calm and peace and don’t mind being away from amenities. They have everything you need onsite in terms of food.
