    • The hotel is clean, comfortable and good value. It's a practical stopover if you are travelling up the Saguenay Fjord or exploring the Lac Saint-Jean region.

    Cons -

    • No free breakfast and the parking, we had a trailer with our VTT, gaz,etc and the parking for peiple like us was at the end of the propriety, not secure and the parking inside was less than 6 feet.
    • It's quite pricy but I imagine that's the cost nowadays
    • No hot water in the night.

The associated Pacini restaurant was chaotic and very slow. When it arrived the food was good, but we gave up waiting to order breakfast, and found a nice bakery elsewhere

    Central located and great walking.

Construction every where. , confusing parking garage and zero green space

Overall everything was good. The only thing that i didn't like was the fitness facility. It is very small, treadmill was half working, there are no mats, no towels, no water. Needs some attention.Restaurant very good

Beds were comfy. On-site restaurant was good

The heater in our room could not be adjusted outside 70-79 f Fan was very strong even on low. We had to turn off for the night to sleep

Large comfy modern room with large beds, good shower etc. Drawers and hanging space for clothes. Handy location.

No provision for breakfast, the Italian restaurant which formed part of the hotel complex provided breakfasts but this did not include fruit and cereal type options.

The hotel is very convenient for anything you want to do in Alma. Also, the woman at the front desk was very helpful - I had cut myself while bike-riding and she got me some bandaids from the hotel first aid kit.

Breakfast service was quite slow. Of course the hotel was pretty booked and there were many guests, but it still seemed to take a long time to get our food.

    7AnthonyPosted on: 7-18-2024

The rooms were clean and well furnished.

    Pool was not clean.

The location of the hotel, for me, was ideally situated. The rooms were clean, and enough toiletries, and towels for my stay. The Pacini restaurant attached to the hotel had a great menu and was very convenient, where I did not have to go out on my first night, on account that it was raining hard.

When greeted and handed my room key, the lady was quite pleasant. However, she did not explain how the room key operated and that you needed to use the room key to access the elevator to take you to your floor. The room key constantly kept getting demagnetized and I had to go down 3-4 times to get it reactivated. The first morning when I left my room I placed the "make-up room sign" for housekeeping to do, and when I returned it was not done, nor were my towels taken. Luckily, I was alone on this trip and not with anyone else and I benefitted from using the second bed.Lastly, The first time I stayed at this hotel I had reserved a room and was given a specific room (507) which, was above and beyond what I expected. This time I had requested the same room and was sent a reply that my request was met. When I arrived and saw the room I was given, in the end, my request was not met.

Nice place to stay in center of Alma, clean and quieté

The room was clean but the pillows were rock hard and much too thick. The girl who welcomed us coughed in her hand then handed me my key card. She was clearly sick (sneezing, coughing, etc.) Now I don’t know if I got it from her but two days later I came down with a fever and was so sick we had to shorten our stay and since my nights were paid for in advance, I lost some money. Didn’t see anyone else who was sick, I always avoid sick people. Needless to say my Christmas holiday was ruined. The restaurant for breakfast, I have never in my life seen a place so understaffed. Nice (young) people but they had too much work to do. Also, my kids only ever eat peanut butter on their toast; there was no peanut butter, the entire time of our stay. The location of the hotel is very handy. Also, we didn’t use those facilities but if we could have stayed as long as planned, we would have enjoyed the pool and the cinema!

Spotless clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, well equipped hotel with friendly staff!

    9MartinaPosted on: 7-6-2022

I loved that they had a restaurant, bar(lounge), pool, hot tub, spa and Cinema all under the same roof

it’s a little confusing to get around if you don’t pay attention to where your going lol

    6DenisePosted on: 3-7-2022

the view out of the room was nice

the staff was quite unfriendly, starting from check-in not being accommodating, even when I asked about services such as breakfast or accessibility of spa I received half answers. No help whatsoever in regards to possibilities in the area even after specifically asking. Just a little disappointing.
