Clean, modern, friendly staff

Staff were extremely accommodating. I had a business meeting in the morning and staff provided this with no questions asked. I travel frequently and have not had this kind of service. Thanks.

Everything was great. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - a good selection of sweet and savoury, warm and cold options. We used the gym, the pool, and the game room - all were well-maintained. Would recommend for a couple's gateway or family vacation.

The only negative thing was that we found a plate and a mug among the clean piles in the breakfast room that were clearly dirty. There were clean options, still finding a dirty plate in the same stack of clean ones was not a good experience.

Weekend breakfast should also start at 7am. We needed to leave early and couldn't have breakfast. Also the mattress was not very comfortable.

I loved this hotel. Not sure why we were allocated a disabled access room as we didn’t request that. The room was great though and very comfortable. Liked that it had a bar for a drink in the evening and a small pool if we had wanted to swim.

Beautiful decor, super super clean ! Gorgeous staff Lovely atmosphere in the bar on Saturday evening .Simple but lovely breakfast. We didn’t use the pool but it looked so invitingBy far the best of the 12 hotels we have stayed in on road trip. I could have stayed for a week . We booked the holiday inn but we would have booked the suite with kitchen if we stayed longer as they were stunning.

Sure clean and bright. Staff were great especially Tammy in the lounge bar/restaurant. Continental breakfast was very good

The staff were so nice , the hotel is great with a pool and a really nice lounge . The drinks are cheap and the bartender is wonderful ! Jen at the front desk was exceptional handling our crew for new years , even the gentleman at the end of night when we got back greeted us and was so kind ! We will be back

New hotel. Modern decor. Clean.

No fault of the hotel but there was a power outage, so loss of all in room amenities. Tv wifi lights etc

This is now my second time staying at the Holiday Inn at Port Elgin and I really love my stays here. The staff are extremely friendly and warm. There is so much lounge space in the lobby and restaurant area, and the rooms are incredibly spacious. The breakfast is so generous too! Love staying here.

Eggs and Sausage have always been terrible. Cannot stomach themPancakes were not something to talk about either

Clean, new facility, comfortable firm bed with food and stores nearby.

Strobe-like flashing of the alarm was every 10-15 seconds was annoying until I fell asleep. Always there when I awoke!

Excellent breakfast spread. Hot and very good quality food. Everything was fresh.

Only one chair in the room. The breakfast could have been served till 10 am instead of 9:30 am .

Everyone was super friendly, the free breakfast was also great!

The water pressure was terrible in the rooms, pool is not heated (or at least is wasn’t when we were there)
