The price! Location is fantastic. Nice staff and incredible value. Will likely stay here again.

Overall a great stay, but there were some minor issues with a plugged sink in one of the bathrooms, and my first shower was a bit cold—presumably because the hot water ran out earlier in the day. However, these are minor complaints.

It was clean and well-run, organized. It was easy to settle in there and get on with my stay. I wondered about the bathrooms, kitchen, common areas, given the number of people staying there. But there wasn¿t a problem. Well-maintained!

No air conditioning is a bit tough, but I wouldn¿t want to have to pay more just for that. A stronger or more efficient fan in the dorm, maybe? There should be no smoking on the front porch. It¿s too close to the doors and windows.

Only price. Despite 6 to 8 people in each room,and more than 50 people walking around in the house areas, reception never asked for a covid 19 vaccinated proof if one had or not. Very dangerous practice of this location.

They should ask for a proof of covid 19 immunization before taking you into .

We were not expecting the "hotel" to be a shared house with a small room and many other guests staying in the house, sharing the common area. We were wary of bed bugs. The staff were also somewhat passive aggressive, coming off as unprofessional.

The owner was kind and welcoming. The location cannot be beat!

The single room was perfect. The bunks are squeaky. (Bring ear plugs for that) but they were super comfortable. We had a great stay and will absolutely stay again!

My bedroom wasnt properly made and I had to go out in the middle of the night to get new sheets because the already placed sheets were so rough that it kept itching me.I rented the private bedroom, and I did not like the bedroom, it was old, the door had a crack in the middle that let light in from the hallway, it was just depressing all around. The washroom was good, but the hot water kept cutting off after every 10 seconds, I couldn't shower properly.

The place was cheap and affordable. But also provided great amenities which made it feel like home. The staff were also very friendly and check-in was easy.

I had a couple of noisy roommates who snored but otherwise it was ok.

I loved everything! Lucas is awesome, and the hostel team are really kind , friendly and makes you feel very welcomed, the place is really nice, clean and organized , well located with such an amazing vibe!

I’m really unpleased with my experience here-they did not give me my money back after I was not accepted. I was told I would receive it and it’s been nearly a month. Waste of time and money

You can make your own food and if you enjoy sharing your place with others guess this place is perfect, it's really close to downtown and you can walk around the interesting places

I didn't have any problems... But It's important to know that you have to share the kitchen and bathroom...

Location was good, staff were friendly.

I woke up on the second morning with bug bites all over my body. Staff suggested maybe I was allergic to the bedding but these had clear bite marks.The washroom door didn't lock and there was a hole in the wall in my room next to the bed.

Excellent location next to famous Byward market where always something to see and do and the CF mall and parliament! Having common area allowed some opportunity to mingle and unwind.

Patio in back nice option but allowed rowdy unconsciencious guests no limit even though guests rooms are just above.Sketchy area because Ottawa Additions Centre is close by.

Lots of character, close to downtown and accessible to major bus lines & metro, cozy house, they give a lot of info about fun things happening nearby, I slept well
