    Pros +

    • the staff went above and beyond their job to try and make our stay comfortable and memorable. The staff in the dining room especially Fred and Raul were extremely well trained and the food was spectacular .
    • The spa and amenities.
    • The amazing, accommodating, respectful staff who went out of their way to make our stay rememberable to say the least. We got stuck there due to a winter storm an extra night and even though they were VERY short staffed they stayed upbeat.

    Cons -

    • this Inn is not Senior friendly. there were no grab bars in the showers(I slipped and fell) the original room they had us in had a loft bedroom. We couldn't do stairs very well so we slept on a pull out couch
    • The room and tap water smelled funky, toilet didn't flush properly, pillows not comfortable. Ate at Headwaters. Waiter was not personable, scallops were undercooked and lukewarm. Sent back, was returned to me reheated, slightly warmer. Not worth the money
    • Narry a thing.

Spa and pool amenities. Staff and problem resolution skills.

    Pools closed too early.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-5-2018

    Nice surroundings.

Very confusing checking in & parking. No signage to assist. Would be helpful to have a 15 minute parking limit for checking sign rather than guessing.

The surroundings and amazing staff. The quality of the hotel beds and facilities was great.

Food choices are limited there. There aren't a lot of restaurants in the area.

The hotel was in a beautiful setting with an impressive waterfall, and the spa facilities were very relaxing. The complimentary tea served at the spa was amazing. We were also given some nice complimentary touches for our wedding anniversary visit.

Unfortunately the hot pools at the spa were closed during our stay. The most disappointing thing was the restaurant. Service and food quality were nowhere near what would be expected for $50+ main meals. You can get better food for less money nearby.

Front desk wasn't helpful and didn't know their own policies. Every time we asked a question, they asked us to go ask someone else, either the restaurant, or lounge person.

Rushed out of the spa. Cleaner started cleaning before the spa closed, wouldn't' say that was the most relaxing. When i suggested they give a warning next time, they reply wasn't customer friendly.

My husband and I booked for our anniversary. We loved the spa and the location of the hotel. It was beautiful.

We did not like that our room was far from the parking and the spa area mostly because we had to walk in the freezing cold and the road and parking lots were covered in ice as it was freezing rain. Better to book your room where the spa building is.

Price quoted was never what was charged. I felt cheated and will not use your service again. I will advise people to be aware of this practice.

    The location

It was “tired”. The rooms weren’t configured well. TV was accessible only if you were in bed - no side table if you were on the couch???

    1CorinaPosted on: 2-16-2026

The staff at the front desk were friendly.

The stairwells smelled really bad. We couldn't get into our room until after check-in time which was inconvenient since we were going to a wedding. Additionally, we originally booked through Booking.Com and the hotel couldn't find our reservation. The driveway wasn't salted or snow cleared very well. The elevator was also very small to bring luggage in.

Private hot tub in The Crofts, dinner was delicious at Head Waters. Staff was friendly.

Hot springs definitely were more just like big hot tubs. Not a very natural vibe. The pool area was very hotel pool, not overly spa-like. But we had a lovely time.

Breakfast was delicious and location is fantastic

The room was filthy. When we moved the sofa to face the fireplace, the dirt underneath was disgusting. Even the bathroom had visible dirt and stains. We paid a lot for this stay, and it was absolutely not worth the money. We will never go back.

Beautiful premises. Cozy room. Very nice restaurants a short distant from the hotel.

All pools (inside and outside) were a bit cold for our liking. The jacuzzi was warmish. A few times staff walked in and kept the door to the outside open. That was a bit annoying. The restaurant was way overpriced. No cookie should cost 16 dollars. It is likely a better experience in a warmer part of the year.

    10NigelPosted on: 11-22-2025

Spa was amazing, great massage, great pools. Excellent dinner in beautiful room. Grounds were also amazing. We did not eat breakfast due to the high price. You can only charge so much for breakfast.

There was black mold on the glass on the door to the deck in the room. The window shade could not be opened as the pulley string was broken. The toilet wouldn’t flush and the lid was broken and sharp.

Beauty and calmness. Clean and simple

    The bed was not comfortable.

Mill croft Inn features an unique spa and wellness facilities. All staff are very congenial. Breakfast was superb both in service (by Meaghan) and menu quality. A secluded location with a gorgeous waterfall and ample parking and old limestone architecture highlight this place,

Our room was considered to be a "deluxe" offering was anything but . Located in the lower ,newer building it is sadly in need of "tlc". A long set of stairs must be negotiated when ever going to the "loft" bedroom and as well visiting the washroom at night. A tiny living area dominated by a huge fireplace? lacks a table to work on. Paint is missing on much of the woodwork and some parts of the drywall are crumbling. These eyesights are easily fixed and should be brought to the attention of the maintenance staff.More importantly, this was not the room I selected from the Booking menu.
