Bay Lake Inn - Frontiersman Motel

My circumstances changed after booking and management was extremely accommodating and friendly. The room was clean, fresh and well maintained. Definitely would recommend. See you next year hotel employee

Good value compared to the nearest motel. With a good packed breakfast! Nice staff

No hair dryer.And you can hear the sound of water flow over the night.

The property was well maintained. The couple at the front desk were very welcoming. For us travellers who were tired from a long drive it gave us comfort during our stay. The location was by the highway, you can hear truck passing by but it doesn’t bother us at all. Easy and smooth check out too. No complaints at all. Muchas gracias!

Location and nice bathroom

Not clean enough, ( dog hair and stained on bedding and stained mattress) only one chair at the table provided, not great for couples, no coffee but did get filters some noise from traffic.

Great location for my mine exploring and rock hounding. I booked a pet friendly room and there is a park behind the motel where I could walk my dog.The bathroom was very clean, with lots of towels and hot water!I even extended my visit one night because I was so comfortable.The owners were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to this area.

Nothing I even checked out 4 days early yes that bad

No cleaning of room in 10 days I was there no clean towels had to dump my garbage in over following garbage cans outside. The hotel staff entered my room to turn off my air conditioning not clean it or give me towels turn off air conditioning. I returned to my room after 10.5 hrs in fire retardant work cloths in 30 plus degree heat to find my thermostat reading 80 and air conditioning off room would not cool so next day I left after paying 14 days but only stayed 10.

It was located right by the highway which was convenient.

The a.c. didn't work (but we opened a back window) and the lighting was not bright enough.

It provided all we were looking for. Elaine was very friendly and attentive. Answered questions right away and provided us with what we needed.

Kitchenette needs a few more things to be more functional, but what we were missing, staff came up with right away

Horrible Front desk staff curses n swears at you after he resells your room

Our room was double sold, after getting our room we came back to find someone in it.

The bed was very comfortable, and I got great air flow throughout my room in the night.Having a microwave came in handy, with the frozen hungry man I got from the gas station across the street.

Tv- no power cord or remote

The location and the staff was great!

The rooms are very dirty and not well maintained.

I will say the beds were comfortable and their was instant hot water.

old, run down, one pathetic push lock on the door. We arrived at 3:00 pm and had to run around to find some one to check us in. The woman that finally helped us was very pleasant but she told us she didn’t even work there, she was just helping out. I don’t know if it’s a Covid thing, but our rooms were not freshened up each day.

Location was excellent right across from the gas station convenience store and LCBO.Friendly staff, clean room, clean sheets and an excellent shower. I enjoyed the beautiful walk along the lake behind the motel.i will be returning with the family.

The TV was to small and outdated,no big deal

It was in the center of town, clean, good parking.

It was a little dated, and during our stay there wasn’t any TV which wasn’t their fault but did take away from the stay.

noise is to be expected from the proximity to the highway. a deadbolt on the door would feel safer.
