Very warm reception . It is very obvious the owner  cares. Free breakfast was awesome.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. There is a restaurant on site but never had the opportunity to grab dinner.

The shower curtain was cloth instead of plastic so after a shower there was a puddle on the bathroom floor. The pillows could have been better.

Nice new floors and distance to Tobermory.

We DID NOT expect a lot, we just wanted a bed for a night before heading to Tobermory, our expectation was CLEAN SHEETS! The room at first glance is nice, as a housekeeping supervisor my first instinct is to expect and of course, check the state of the sheets. I was blow away with the amount of stains from the pillowcase all the way down to the pillow on all 3 pillows given! There were brown marks and discolouration of the sheets. Thank GOD I brought pillows and sheets just in case. The shower was clean but the rest of the bathroom was a little on the nastier side. Again I wasn’t asking for anything spectacular, just clean sheets. This accommodation is a rip off for $170/night. Let alone a death trap with the swinging ceiling fan on the last screw, mould building up, and broken bathroom tiles. Staff was not all that friendly upon checkout, she was on her phone and gave rude looks, just dropped my keys in the box.

I really wanted to see the news & Jimmy Fallon when I returned from dinner @ 10PM. Unfortunately, neither TV nor Wi-Fi worked. In my nightgown & bathrobe at 10PM & after unpacking, I was offered to move to another room, 5 doors down. No thanks at that late hour! TV is a staple of motels since late1960s & Wi-Fi is a must since 2000. Instead, the next morning, I had to go to Tim Hortons for breakfast & Wifi because I had a phone call scheduled with my son via WhatsApp in Belgium.

Staff was awesome! Very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean and decent. Easy to find location and accessible to Sauble Beach (15 mins drive).

It was really quiet at night. I was able to get a good night's rest. The staff are really nice. The motel has a restaurant with really good food. The location is great.

Two of the lamps didn't have light bulbs. We like lamps at Nighy. It would have been nice to have light bulbs in the lamps.

The only negative was the outside appearance. There were toys, bikes, etc strewn around the entranceway As we drove in, I wondered if we had made a mistake booking to stay there. The windows did not look clean and it just appeared to be rundown. The room was a totally different story!

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Very helpful. The motel was older but very clean and comfortable. We went for a relaxing time and it was definitely accomplished

absolutely nothing.

the place was so dirty on the outside and so gross on the inside. the comforters has stains on them and their were spider webs in every corner. it didnt feel clean at all. we didnt even end up staying the night because it wasnt clean. they would not refund us even though we didnt even end up staying, not even a partial refund. would not recommend this place at all.

Location, restaurant on premises, parking close to room

Parking gravel, food was low quality! Very expensive menu, pop $5 each, ice cream 1 small scoop $5, One burger with salad, two pop, two small scoops of ice cream was about $50, incredible rip off, but nothing else close. Stayed there for convenience

Dirty, run down.

Dirty, room not cleaned properly, used tissue on floor. Beds uncomfortable. Basketball ball net in rear had broken backboard. Realize 2star hotel, but It appears that no money has been spent in twenty years on maintenance. This motel used to be the best in the area.

Supper friendly staff, very likeable and welcoming. Anna was awesome. fresh, clean smelling rooms. restaurant offers hot, freshly prepared meals good value for the money.

grout between the tiles in bath was nasty.

The bath and shower had a new surround, very clean. The rest of the place was nice enough.

No hair dryer. Nobody in the office to request one. To get privacy we had to hang a towel over the curtain rod where there was a gap where the window mounted a/c unit created a gap in the curtains.
