Pros +
- Staff was available mid night and she supported us well
- This motel was everything that I expected for a one night stay over, in a small town while traveling by car. The price was reasonable and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating.
- The location is very accessible and quiet.
Cons -
- Microwave was there but not functioning It was not mentioned on their web sites that microwave is there in room Queen bed was not there it was small for 2 adults even for 2 kids There were mosquitoes in the rooms No sink in the toilet it was
- As I got to my room, I had to plug in fridge, start AC and couldn’t get the TV on. Had to plug it in and even with the password for wifi couldn’t get access!I understand that they might not be too busy but, some preparations should take place in order to avoid this kind of situations in the future.
- There was loud machinery inside the hotel operating ALL NIGHT. Unacceptable, they should not be renting rooms while this is going on.

friendly front desk staff
There was loud machinery inside the hotel operating ALL NIGHT. Unacceptable, they should not be renting rooms while this is going on.
Hotel was clean but definitely needs to be upgraded as it is very out dated and mattresses are very springy, felt like I was on a boat every time my husband moved. Surprisingly slept better than expected. Seemed like they were still in Covid lockdown mode as we could only use the outdoor entrance to our room as there were signs on the inside of our door stating no entry to the hall.
It was a traumatic experience!
There were bed bugs and sheets that weren’t changed from the last customer. They gave us a different room and offered a free stay during the winter months but I would never stay there again.
The staff were very friendly and nice.
The decor was extremely outdated. I was also disappointed by the selection available on the television. They advertise that they have a lot of premium channels, but I discovered when I got there that they want you to sign in with your own user information for all providers such as Disney, Discovery + etc. A problem they may not realize is that if you are not Canadian you are unable to sign in using US passwords as they don't usually work. There were no cable channels at all.
The location was perfect for me, not far from the major route I needed to take in the morning. Considering the truck traffic which wasn't far from the hotel, it was a quiet room and comfortable. Being on the ground floor made it easy to load my vehicle in the early morning without interrupting others who were staying there.
Very basic accommodations. Comfortable and clean, but certainly not luxurious. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. A previous reviewer said there was nothing on the TV except Netflix which you had sign in with your own ID. That is not so. It’s a bit complicated, but I got the owner to show me how to tune in to the live TV feed.
Needs some minor maintenance. e.g. burnt out light bulbs. TV was difficult to tune in; needed help from the owner.
The fellow at the reception desk did not know what he was doing but he tried really hard.
Office/ reception door was locked and we had to buzz to alert someone. Signs everywhere to mask and socially distance. Guy couldn't find our booking. Door to room didn't work and they needed to get someone to come and reprogram it.
Room was big and clean.
Nobody at the frontdesk when I left at 6.30 am
Got there at 3am had to bang as front desk was sleeping . Girl at front desk couldn’t find my booking . Gave wrong key . Wrong directions had to come back . Gave my baby a bath went to go to bed . Bed was dirty . Anything white was yellow . Has stains on bed , hair on bed from prior people . Food stains on bed . I left for a better hotel ask for refund . Said he was gonna refund me . Ans never did . Then ignored my messages about the refund he offered
Nothing rude staff . Dirty motel . Rooms should be 70-80 dollars . Needs to be upgraded and cleaned . Not worth the price they have them for .
It was very quiet because I was the only quest in the Hotel.
There were two signs on the highway before I reached the Hotel stating that the hotel was offering a promotion, rooms at $89.99. I arrived at the Hotel and asked about the promotion and I was immediately told that the promotion had ended. I stated that maybe the signs should come down to which I got one reply. I asked about the restaurant and was told "No Restaurant". I inquired about being the only guest as there were no other vehicles in the parting lot and all I got was "Are you concerned about that"? I have never had an experience like this at a Hotel before. I guess I know now why I was the only one there as I will never be going back and will not recommend this Hotel to anyone.
I liked the outside door to my vehicle
Rugs were disgusting could smell pee on themHad to take back off Toilet to stop it from running Shower curtain was dirtyAir conditioner/heater was filthy and stankOutside door wouldn't open from inside Had to struggle with it constantly Big bump in parking lot scraped the bottom of my car bad didn't see itOnly 1 pack of coffee pot was dirtyJust because you are traveling with pets doesn't mean you want a filthy room
Disappointing
Lousy old beds run down rude staff screwed up reservation no facilities should just be torn down
Just because it’s near the highway
The smoke detector was not properly installedThe TV didn’t workThe light in the room is poor There was a used bandage on the carpet. That’s being said it was not properly cleaned. Definitely is not recommended for a single woman travelling alone. It’s very creepy
No breakfast onsite, but a good restaurant is nearby. Room is well laid out and extremely quiet. Bed is good; not the best but certainly much better than some I have experienced this summer. The quietness is amazing. It allowed an excellent uninterrupted sleep.
Wifi drops frequently, so not good for much. Difficult to even do email due to unreliable function. The light is the bathroom is very dim, but not a problem.
Good price clean and perfect for a stay while driving across the country
The staff were very friendly and check in was seamless.
Room smelled of smoke and we could here people talking outside our room for part of the night.
It was pet friendly- but charged $20 per pet.
This is one of the worst motel experiences I’ve had. The room was not cleaned well enough: the remote was sticky, the walls were stained, the carpet stunk & the fridge door was broken. The fridge & A/C were off upon arrival- despite booking ahead. The motel was advertised as $115 but with pet fees & tax, I was charged $185 upon check in.
