Location and price. In reasonable condition for the price.

Shower drain plugged. Two TV controls with no operating instructions.

Location is great. Lovely to walk by the water, & into town. Comfortable bed, good linens. Decent frig, with an actual freezer. Internet. Overall a cozy room.

Disappointed no breakfast was available,but I knew this before booking. Unfortunately no toaster,bathtub could use minor repairs. Walls very thin. Heating was unusual,small electric heater, but quite sufficient.I wonder what they did in the summer for AC

Friendly staff! The view from the room was amazing! Cannot wait to go back in the summer and see the view when the lake isn't frozen!

This hotel is a very intimate hotel. You get know fellow travelers at their wonderful full breakfast not just a continental. The owners have no staff they do it all them selves which is very warm and inviting.

The only thing that we didn't like was the weather it was cold.

The motel was in a convenient location for an overnight stop. Although it is an old motel the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!

Quiet area with a fantastic vista of the Montreal River. The owners of the motel were extremely friendly and personable to talk to. Location next to the 1922 Haileybury Fire made it easy to remind ourselves of the hardship faced by this little community.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.Very friendly . Couldn't stay for the breakfast so cannot comment on that.

The room was redecorated and was very clean. The bed was good. The only thing I can say because of the time of the year the flowers were extremely cotherwise. I recommend this place.

I wish after we booked the place that they could turn to heat up more, especially in the winter. It's a very cold place that you could come to a nice warm room other than not no complaints.

Location, it was convenient to the hockey games and looked like a nice area.

It wasn’t clean, we got up packed and left at 2am as my teenage daughter woke up feeling ick on her skin. When we got up she used her phone flashlight to check the bed, there were 4 bugs immediately visible so we packed up and left. When letting staff know, we were blamed for lying and placing it there ourselves.

Owners were welcoming and accommodating. Had problems with TV converters and had quick response to fix the problem! Will definitely return to stay in the future.

Could have had another lamp in the corner neartable and chairs. Main light was too bright when watching tv.

The breakfast was good.The location and the view was great.The price was exceptional.

Stunning view of the lake. Staff were super friendly. Excellent butter chicken pizza! And it’s pet friendly. Great walking areas for dogs and a beach to swim in!

The location was fine it was right across the street from the lake with view of sunrise. It was also located a block from main street so access to couple of restaurants, LCBO and drug store

When I arrived clerk checked my reservation and asked for credit card for payment. I told him I already paid when booking and he told me I didn't I again told him I did and he argued with me instead of checking. Finally after checking he agreed I was right. The fridge in the room made noise that kept me awake. After first night I expected my bed to be made, garbage cans to be dumped and towels to be changed , Non of that was done. Housekeeping is only done on request. First time in my life I have ever experienced that . There were limited electrical plugs for plugging in electrical devices and no bedside lamps for reading. Had to leave bathroom light on and door open.

The meals were delicious, staff were more than amazing and the view was excellent. I enjoyed my stay very much and would absolutely recommend it to other travelers.

Ideal location, minutes from Northern college where I was helping my daughter get settled into her dorm for a few days.. Beautiful view! Very convenient parking.Loved the fridge freezer combo!! Larger freezer size than I have seen before. Really liked the hutch beside the fridge-great addition!

Didn’t turn on A/C because filter was very dirty; Incredibly dusty under bed; Room really should have a coat rack-(vacant wall by door)
