Deep River Motel

The best small, independent motel I have ever been in! So clean and peaceful! Very comfortable bed. The attention to detail in the room found in a well run brand name place coupled with the charm and welcome of a well run independent roadside motel.

No complaints

Arrived late in the morning. Staff was very accommodating. Free wifi and parking both are always great to have. It was 2 am when I arrived and the woman at the desk didn’t mind getting me ice even though it probably woke up the rest of her family.

Clean cozy room. Quick check in. Would definitely recommend to anyone I know to stay here.

Cleanliness

You will rarely encounter motels that clean; I mean, you could litteraly sit on the floor anywhere if you wanted. It seemed like everything, EVERYTHING was clean! On top of that, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Our experience there was top notch!

Convenient and affordable. Beds were comfortable.

Rooms were small but manageable. They would not give extras of anything. Ran out of toilet paper twice because they wouldn’t leave an extra roll. Make sure you ask for more before you run out.

Too close to the road all we heard all night was the traffic. We were exhausted in the morning

The price was great. The location was also great but it's besides the Trans Canada Hwy, so noisy. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly management. Has a mini fridge and a small coffee pot for kitchen facilities.

It surved it's purpose. Its was a room for the night. Comfy bed, nice staff, good shower.

Clean, functional, friendly staff. The two queen room was a good size.

Would have been great to have had a plug for the bathroom basin and bathtub, as well as tea bags for non coffee drinkers. A nice to have would be some lighter, see-through privacy blinds on the windows so light can be let in but people can' tsee in, vs full black out blinds only which make it dark in the room and can't see outside.

The room was clean, comfortable, bathroom was clean, great water pressure and hot water lots of hot water. There was coffee maker, fridge, TV and table. Arrived during heat wave and air conditioner worked beautifully

We were greeted by the nicest people. We had arranged to arrive fairly late that day but ended up arriving early and that was no problem with staff. We were very grateful for that. Thank you :)

The cleanliness, quiet (except the highway trucks which they have no control of) and the location was just so perfect.

Staff was very accommodating. Location and price were excellent. They did as well as possible with an older structure. It was remodeled.

The rug at the door was very dirty. The bed springs made loud noises.

The Deep River Motel has been renovated. The accommodation for the price was very good. The room was clean and efficient for my travels.

Staff was friendly and kind. Room and bathroom were clean. Wifi was satisfactory.

Restaurants are a bit far away. About 2 years ago the owners prevented me from cancelling a reservation at this location (I wasn't able to check in before the front desk closed for the night), forcing me to escalate to a service representative at booking.com.
