Gave us a room with a king size bed which I asked for. We had already unpacked our things then went to the front desk to explain why there was no counter space in the bathroom, small closet, lower bed, no place to put our luggage on. Then you figuired out it was for someone in a wheelchair. So we needed to move rooms at 11:30 at night. Front desk clerk mentioned that we would be credited for that night. Talked to manager the following day via phone, as she was late arriving. She said there was nothing they could do. So needless to say I/ we were not happy. Found resort great but we have second thoughts about going back. Still think we should have been compensated for that one night considering we stayed and spe t money at the restaurant and spa. So not really happy.
Large, clean, friendly staff, beautiful views and easy to access.

The pool and slides were fun.Room had a kitchenette which was great.
There wasn't a hair dryer in our room, which was bothersome since we used the pool and wanted to dry our hair.
Apt. was lovely, spacious and well equipped.
Bed is a bit too soft and low.
The room was big and beautiful. Checking in was very confusing, the location is large and has similar name to near by location. Didnt use the pool are but saw it from the window. Looked awesome if I had my toddler he would have loved it. The restaurant was very accomodating. The food was great and fairly priced, it was packed in there too but really pretty.
Overall good
The $40 hotel voucher mentioned on Booking was a scam—it was never offered at check-in. Booking also did not follow up on this issue. The internal layout from reception to the rooms was very confusing.Additionally, the pool area had a strong smell of disinfectant and poor ventilation, which made it difficult to breathe.
I was honestly a bit skeptical before our trip because of some negative reviews I had read, but once we arrived at Livingwater Resort and Spa, that completely changed. From the very beginning, Hannah, the supervisor, made such a positive difference. She warmly welcomed me and my family and immediately made us feel comfortable on the property. She even upgraded our room to a newer one with a much better view. Although she mentioned that the room we originally booked was already great, she still went the extra mile and placed us in a room that was even better, which we truly appreciated. One of the common negative reviews I had seen mentioned that the resort felt like a maze and was hard to navigate. However, Hannah clearly explained how to get around and gave us simple, easy-to-follow directions to our room, which made everything stress-free from the start. She was professional, helpful, and truly great at her job.Our room was huge perfect for our family. The kids had so much fun just playing in the space. It was very clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and appliances, including a washing machine and dishwasher. We didn’t end up using everything, but it was great knowing it was all there. The pool was another highlight. It wasn’t crowded during our stay, which made it even more enjoyable. The kids loved it, and the jacuzzi was a nice bonus as well. We also had a small issue with the TV, but it was resolved very quickly, which we really appreciated. As for dining, the restaurant exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was excellent, but dinner truly stood out, the steak was world-class and absolutely delicious. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food.Overall, we would definitely come back. Hannah’s exceptional service made our entire experience extremely positive right from the start, and it truly set the tone for a great family stay.
Very affordable, clean and comfortable. Will definitely book again in the future.
The public areas were clean, brightly lit and open.
The water in our shower took a long time to heat up. Also, the furniture in the room was dated and somewhat damaged—layers had been peeled from the covered bed frame.
kayaking and the pool.
the room was at the end within another room and staff didnt refresh towels nor make up bed when I came back to the room after being gone for 6 hrs
The accommodation was lovely as always. So much room! Few things need attention but overall very nice.
The suite we were given wasn't convenient to the lobby etc and we were told the outside walk was best. Neither of our 2 keys worked, so back to the lobby in the rain and sleet. Not a good set up to access lobby at all. Also the sofa in the living room is super uncomfortable to sit on. Not sure comfort level as a bed, but terrible to watch TV etc
After check-in at the hotel, I needed to cancel reservation and leave the hotel. At this moment I haven’t even left the concierge desk and I wanted to cancel but they did not refund a penny to me. The blatantly said no, once you pay you leave or stay you cannot get any refund. That really angered me and I’m never going to stay at this hotel ever again because of that. The gentlemen with a thin moustache refused to give me the money and did not engage his supervisor even after I asked for one.
Didn’t refund my money at check-in
restaurant is great. Staff is friendly
The room door is hard to close. Bathroom seems too big while the bedroom is small. Pool is ok.
Location
The bed was not comfortable. Very sofe and the pillow was to thick to sleep. The poor was not clean. Water looks mutty
Price with the discount in comparison to 3star hotels
The facility is pretty worn out, spa is only for additional fees
Poor
Booking.com claimed that $45 of Resort activities are included in the price we paid to stay one night. The hotel was not willing to give us the $45 coupon at the front desk or at the spa. Only once we checked out did they give us the coupon to be used “the next time we visit”. Either they are scamming or booking.com is not being truthful. Very disappointing.
The rooms were fairly clean.
Too expensive for nothing. Stayed there for 10 days with my family. You had to pay extra to have your room cleaned. Had to wash our own towels. The pool was not clean and toi much chlorine. My kids both had skin like sandpaper after 2 days of swimming. The restaurant is beautiful but definite expensive. For 400+ a night we had to constantly ask for toilet paper and cleaning supplied. I had to ask for a vacuum. False advertisement on the website. All the sauna rooms and the hydrotherapy are at the spa, which is an additional cost. I would never go back again. My kids used the pool for 3 out of 10 days. .and there was nothing else to do. I asked for my sheets to be changed because they were stained when we arrived. I had to make my own bed. They just gave me the supplies.
