- The resort is run down and nothing was fixed. There was a pool outside our room still covered even though it was the end of June and the cement around the pool was broken. The eve troughs were all broken full of moss and dirt. There was no place to eat.

No breakfast included. Gorgeous grounds. Lovely staff. Comfy room and enjoyed the jet tub.
The gas fireplace was lovely, but set at too high a heat. The room was so hot, we had to turn on the air conditioner to counter it. We set the thermostat as low as possible, but it was still too hot.
We stayed at the resort on a Thanksgiving Day. The rooms was very nice with a little kitchen where meals could be cooked. We turned on heat as it was a cold evening when we arrived and the room heated up very quickly. Beds were a bit soft but comfortable. We had a good sleep. We ate breakfast at the resort restaurant. Fried eggs with potatoes and bacon (they do not make omelets).
kitchen sink drain was partially clogged.
We were delighted with the location.
As seniors we felt a little uneasy using the step in bathtub. An extra handrail near the edge of the surround would help.
Room size, bed size.
Squeaky bathroom door.
The location was good. The restaurant was excellent, but rather expensive. The room was pleasant, clean, and functional. The bathroom was immaculate.
We asked for a change of room , as I have limited mobility and going up the stairs was difficult with a cane. The bed was very hard.
Staff were friendly, helpful. Room was quiet, room would have smelt fresher if windows had been opened prior to arrival.
Some detail attention. SIgnboards were old, paint fading. Dining room had wasps in the covered porch, but thankfully they were very lazy. Window sills in porch had a number of small dead fruitflies.
Very unique property with many options for accommodations. Weather prevented us from taking full advantage of facilities available but many things to do there. Location was amazing!
Property was older, decor was out of date. Otherwise no concerns.
Absolutely perfect stay. Lodge was awesome. Amazing view on lake and personnel was very clear. That view on sandbanks from the private beach is absolutely stunning
Hard to tell anything
Nice eating room and the park in back. Excellent restaurant on site
The front desk staff were very polite
Our room had a strong musty odor, which was unpleasant. Additionally, the cleaning staff could be heard conversing loudly in the hallway early in the morning, which was disruptive considering many guests had not yet checked out. While I personally received a good deal through Expedia, I had family members who paid significantly more for their stay, and based on the overall experience, the quality did not justify the higher rates they were charged..
Good location on a beach and close to Sandbanks ParkEfficient check-inBasic but clean
The whole place looks run down. In need of care and maintenance.
Location
Bad service for breakfast and not clean enough
Very spacious and well furnished lodge with a fireplace. Had a very good meal at the restaurant. Close car ride to Picton and Sandbanks.
Sure, the furniture and overall installations are a bit dated, but honestly everything was functional and made for a comfortable stay.
The receptionist at check in was very polite and had a very friendly dispositionThe room we rented was GREAT and SUPER clean..It had everything we needed. The Restaurant was AMAZING right on the water, super clean, friendly staff and food pretty good
All good....maybe parking could be more detailed as to where to park ...for our unit...
Location was perfect. The property was well laid out and kept clean. The views on the beach were simply stunning.
The unit was a bit outdated and the sofa bed was uncomfortable but we managed. Our kitchen was small but perhaps it was simply the unit we chose.
