No A/C. And nothing offered to compensate for it.

Staff was nice

No a/c, non working power outlet, power outlets wouldnt handle my hair dryer and kept popping, no ceiling fan, it got so humid and hot after showering.

This venue is an old motel that has been taken care of. VERY clean and that was the main requirement for me. The decor is different but okay. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. The only thing I would change is the bed. A little firm and on the hard side. Would be nice if it was upgraded and there needs to be a choice for some softer pillows. But over allVery good value and CLEAN ☺️

Very nice room. The owners were hands on extremely nice people. Room was beyond clean. You could tell that the owners were personally responsible for their facility. Would stay again.

I like that it is a smaller motel, not too many people around and it’s nice and quiet! Room was very clean, comfy bed, all you can really ask for for the money.

My only qualm about my stay is the a/c isn’t adjustable per room, and it is shut off at night time, which made it difficult to get to sleep sometimes on hotter nights, but not a major issue

The town of Vegreville is a few Kms away from the Trans Canada Hwy 16.

No plug in the tub so a bath was difficultParking is quite tight but doable.

This is a great place to stay in while in Vegreville. Rooms Are a little small, Price is good , clean, warm, Close to restraunts.

Parking area is a little small for parking full size trucks if all rooms are occupied.as motel is on a L SHAPE

Great option if you’re heading to Edmonton but don’t want to pay YEG prices. Property is 45 minutes away from the big city and just off highway 16.

Walls are fairly thin but I had great neighbours. Parking is a little tricky, not always possible to park outside the unit.

The room was clean and comfortable

The TV could use an update, so you can connect your phone, or at least you don't get channels from idaho that look like 20 years ago.

The room we ended up with was small but comfortable and clean and included a microwave and mini fridge. Owners were very kind and lent us some of their own dishes and cutlery so we could prepare some food. Location was superb for what we needed - easy walking distance to the agricultural grounds.

We had booked the family suite months in advance of our stay, specifically for the kitchenette and separate bedroom. However, when we arrived, we were told the people who had rented the room before us extended their stay and therefore, the room was not available. So instead, we were offered one of their regular rooms (much smaller, no kitchenette, no separate bedroom) and a very small discount. We didn't have much choice at that point so decided to stay.There was no AC in our room. There were vents in the ceiling blowing some cool air every now and then but nowhere near enough to cool the room. There was a thermostat but turning it down did nothing. We ended up sleeping with the windows open and keeping the curtains shut all day.The advertised hot tub in the room does not exist - it's simply a small bathtub in the bathroom.

The room was perfect for my one-night needs, had a value comparable to the price I paid, and the location was fabulously close to the stampede grounds, which was perfect since an event there was my entire reason for being in town. (Proximity to the train tracks didn’t bother me.)

I had to turn the fridge on myself, which I didn’t realize until after I went to the office to ask why it wasn’t working.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and our room was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our one-night stay as we were passing through.

As others have mentioned, if you don't prepay the hosts record all of the payment details on-site in a manner that doesn't seem secure. We prepaid on Booking.com so it wasn't an issue for us.

They accused me of taking the bath towels, they only gave two hand towels & two face cloths They didn’t clean the coffee pot out , I had to do that , the pics are of the texts he sent me

Owners are very good, rooms are VERY CLEAN ,this my go to place while visiting in Vegreville, restraunts are within minutes walking!
