Set among the tall pines and overlooking the rivers of Jasper National Park, this lodge features a wood-burning fireplaces. The town of Jasper is 1.2 mi away. Local hardwoods and stones are used in the building of the Tekarra Lodge cabins and rooms. Each cabin also features a stone fireplace . Guests can hike the lodge’s trails or enjoy the children’s playground. Bikes, binoculars and portable DVD players can also be rented. No TVs are found at the lodge. During the summer season, guests can enjoy an array of outdoor activities such as a fitness bootcamp, children's scavenger hunt and a magic show. The Marmot Basin is 28 minutes' drive from Tekarra Lodge. The Jasper Tramway is 2.5 mi away.

- Availability because of evacuation of Edson. I had to turn back to Jasper I was on my way home to Tofield from Kamloops and needed a place to stay overnight
- The location was perfect. Close enough to walk to town but felt like we were far away from everything. There were lots of wonderful hiking trails right outside our door and a lovely restaurant just a few feet away.

- The common room & lodge rooms lacking a microwave & kitchen chairs & tables to sit at if you chose not to eat at a restaurant. No recycle bins in the common room. Will stay in cabin next time. Were told to move our car, then someone else took our spot!

Fabulous location! Great hiking, great views of the Athabasca River, close to Jasper (could walk or definitely bike there) Breakfast Buffet was super and the staff in the restaurant were really helpful and on top of it! Must see the Beauvert Lake!
