    • The pod was so hot. The fan inside the pod was not helpful plus it was so noisy. We didn¿t get any towel; had to ask for it at the front. It¿s not a hotel, it¿s a hostel.

Very conveniently located in the middle of the village, close to the Gateway Loop where I caught the shuttle back to the airport. Lots of space to store snow gear and belongings. Pod/sleeping area was spacious with outlets to charge phones/gadgets.

Stairs, stairs, stairs. Stayed here for one night toward the end of my stay because it worked out better to stay an extra night in order to catch an airport shuttle. It was very difficult on the tired muscles to lug aaaaall my gear up the flight of stairs and then continue to take stairs to and from the restrooms/lockers to my pod. I don't know how long my pod had been empty, but there were some small dead gnats on my sheets. The showers also didn't feel like the cleanest, but that's expected of shared showers.

Location was excellent being right smack in the middle of town. Relaxed atmosphere and had everything we needed for a one night stay. Also nice and quiet.

On checking in we were allocated a top berth. With no more than two toe sized steps and two leather straps to climb up it was a little strenuous. We are still active and fairly fit however, at the ages of 58 and 61 some things start to become more challenging. We went and asked to be shifted to a lower berth which was more appropriate for us. I think if I was checking people in, I would look at their ages, and if there was availability, I would give them the option of the upper or lower. I realise this wouldn't always be possible.

Everything, the food is super cheap in the resturant, the staff are super friendly, theres storage for skis and snowboards or big bags, the rooms are great for a hostel and they include private changing areas and multiple bathrooms in just 1 dorm. Fantastic place for students travelling on a budget. The location of this hostel is also in the middle of the village, so barley any walking needed to get anywhere.

On a previous visit I had checked out the hotel without staying, so I knew what to expect. The pods are compact but perfectly adequate for budget-conscious travellers, not so dissimilar to a hostel, yet offering more personal space and better-designed common areas. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the village.Noise was never an issue, as the other guests near us respected the quiet hours from 10pm to 7am.Overall, the concept is excellent and very budget-friendly—we saved around 50% compared to nearby hotels. My partner loved the experience and would happily return. At 67, I found it less comfortable and feel it’s better suited to younger, more flexible travellers.

Our corridor had four side-entry pods, two WCs, one shower, and a small changing room. While the changing room provided some privacy, it was so cramped that using it to get dressed felt more trouble than it was worth. The shower was functional, though on the tight side. The WCs, however, were surprisingly spacious, and I often used them as makeshift changing areas. A few extra shelves in those spaces would have been a welcome improvement.Breakfast was a bit overpriced and underwhelming. The “hash browns” turned out to be frozen tater tots, more a plate like filler than a proper dish.

    location

Very loud music down stairs. The manager was rude when I complained to him regarding the noise.

I was invited by my friends and co workers, and this is where they were staying. I've stayed at POD like hotels before in Narita Japan for a day which was good. The location of this POD hotel was prime real estate. It was near the gondola for the mountain, near the bars and restaurants which was great. Whistler village is an awesome place to visit and if you need an affordable place to crash while you hit the mountains or party in the village this is the place. The staff were awesome and the trivia night a nice touch, even got to grab drinks with the host and gave us a little tour of the village and where to end the night on drinking. The common area is a nice touch with the bar. Everything about his establishment was convenient. The staff were friendly and reminded me a bit of college life. If you're staying in Whistler for couple days to hit the slopes this is the place.

I feel like the bathrooms could use a bit more tending to. Toilet paper needed to be refilled or at least stocked in an area in the pods. Each pod has multiple people staying in it so needs to be stocked. For me 2 nights were enough to stay and find it a good experience. If I were stay a few more days I would have checked into a hotel for more privacy, but that's my personal preference.

PODS are cute, clean, comfortable, personal fan, lights, and lock box in your POD with a little storage space is very nice!

The rooms smell Heavily like Body Odor when you open the door. Along with requiring everyone keep their ski boots down stairs they should also keep all their shoes (minus flip flops) down stairs as well. Perhaps install a fan in each room for circulation or provide an air freshener spray?

It was not what we expected, but we loved it, and both slept so well

Only thing was that i would like to have known that the space comes with a lockable cupboard… but we needed to supply our own lock

Amazing pod hotel. Everything new, clean, and modern. Pods are very big, no claustrophobia or whatsoever. A must stop if you are in Whistler.

    Nothing, everything was perfect.

It was clean. Had soap and shampoo in the shower

Staff was a little lost during the check-in

    8LindsayPosted on: 6-2-2025

The beds were super comfortable, location very central in Whistler village, underground parking, layout of pod dorms—showers in the dorm itself and all other amenities. Staff member who checked us in was lovely and very helpful

Cleaners vacuuming in the early morning 930ish am, food wasn’t enjoyable and bar/food staff pretty inattentive and inexperienced. Price of parking pretty crazy too

The location and the friendly staffers

Not sure how to justify a CAN100 one night stay in a pod, but this is more of a comment on their business model. The staffers were supportive and overall, I had a good sleep.
